For me if a Bike is offered wit ABS , then one should go for it. The only accident I was involved was in a FZ on a rural road ,wer the boy who was walking on the side suddenly jumped into the centre of the road , my fnd was the pillion and I was doing 60 then., even though I managed to apply rear first and then front disk which brought the bike to sme 20kmph yet the front disk locked and we toppled down frm the bike but was not hurt much, definitly ABS wouldve stopped the accident tere, So its Safe to have an ABS equipped bike.
PS: I wil be getting the Std version though bcoz of price constraints due inclining frm a 1.1lakh R15, 1.6lakh is the max Im gonna put on the bike and extra 26k is too much. Dont think it wil cost that much for Honda . Apache is offered wit a very advanced and latest ABS fr just 8k extra. If given fr an extra 15k I wil take the ABS version. Yea 'Safety comes First' is tere. But Im goin to ride it wit a extra caution other than ogling arnd wit an safe ABS one :-)

Thanks to all who have read the post. I think its all about few days to get accustomed to ABS braking system and the operating distances. This would suffice to gain expertise as time progresses.
