Except the 'accurate' silver... everything with regards to the CBR has been grossly inaccurate....the quality, delivery, the customer care.
But I still love the CBR and I will go for it
as it is the best bike on Indian roads south of 2 lacs at this point of time and it is the best upgrade at this cost, from the classic pulsar 150 that I have right now.
Also, with the money I save, I can get my CBR custom painted and I have the option of going for a plethora of performance upgrades once the warranty gets over.

yes buddy he is my brother no doubts about it actually in January 2010 I just bought bajaj so at least for 2 years let me keep her. If suppose something comes out as u said for an eg. in r1's case then I might switch to some other beautiful machine. As I have to buy a bike in 2012. Its a lucky year for me.Originally posted by pp180 View PostArjun mate,
If Dealer is your brother then Why do you require to book a bike and what's point in booking a bike and getting in after 1 year .
It like I can say , Hey guys i have booked R1 today and delayed the delivery till Jan 2014
,If any other Japs superbike is released via CKD/SKD before that then I will cancel my booking and save a fortune ,Smart move from my side

A real sigh of relief
ATTENTION Dears,
HMSI has called it a pause on any deliveries for at least 10-20 days until the quality issues is taken care of. HMSI has also showed anger to some of the dealers who have handed over the keys to owners without any intimation. The next lot arriving at any dealer means that they are being sorted out on quality front.
"HONDA is a reputed brand and the rise in its booking numbers is the best proof of its strong R&D and quality aspects. We will be back soon keeping customer's satisfaction at the peak" , said by one of the HONDA official sources.
chin up guys, our waiting wont taste a futile end

The official happens to be a relative of my friend and he's insisted not to reveal the name. The news is genuine, do not worry.Originally posted by ajaymanohar View PostHey this is cool news. But the source for this?

Good move by Honda! I was expecting something like this to happen. I won't mind waiting for a month extra for this.Originally posted by pravu View PostThe official happens to be a relative of my friend and he's insisted not to reveal the name. The news is genuine, do not worry.
However, some official press release of such news would make more sense.Sudeep P Nambiar

Got a chance again to give a keen look at the display CBR250 at JSP Honda, hyderabad. As observed by others, panel gaps and crude finishing of clipons and rear set frame are obvious. The rear sets are out of place with the bike. Seems Honda has tried to do a Bajaj here. The stunner and dazzler had better fit and finish than this 1.7 lac bike.
Disclaimer: I am not suggesting anybody to stay away from the bike with my comments. They are just my observations. I never expected this kind of quality from Honda, that too on a 1.7 lac bike.HH Karizma (Current) || CBF Stunner PGM-FI || Honda CB Unicorn Dazzler

+1.. The official press release will also help Honda India to restore their brand image (which got hampered in last couple of months due to the false promises on the CBR250R of the Honda dealersOriginally posted by sudeepnbr View PostGood move by Honda! Well seems like good news, but without any official news from the honda on CBR in press, i really can't believe it at all. I have also got some bad news some days back from some friend's known in honda that while testing, it was found,CBR engine's some parts get damaged after 20,000 kms run and those are so important part that you need to loose another 40,000 for getting them changed. Honda engineers have no solution for this.Originally posted by pravu View PostATTENTION Dears,
