how is your post any different from his? i think all of us need to relax and not resort to any name calling. if you have a problem with a post, it's better to report it, that's what the mods are for.Originally posted by firenLast edited by googboog; 05-06-2011, 06:47 PM.There's a power that comes from deep inside of you
'Cause every day you're reaching toward the light
And you know there's a long long way ahead of you
But when your wheels get you there,
Things will turn out right!

I dont think Honda will issue any kind of statement, as it may lead to a lot of cancellations.Originally posted by firenWould advice people to take this with a pinch of salt until an official news comes from honda. What parts are actually manufactured in japan?. I though most of the parts are manufactured in thailand.
So availability of parts for service or for repairs might pose a big problem for some time. While this delay looks inevitable conidering the fact that the CBR250R does indeed feature plenty of Japanese made critical parts,

Hi all,
visited JSP Honda showroom , Kukatpally, Hyderabad after getting a cal abt display bike today,

, it was RED ABS version. No test rides yet, may commence from monday after a small launch party. Deliveries will take another 10 days according to manager.
bike looks really awesome
, its worth wait.............. mine is the 4th booking overall and 3rd among RED ABS...........
the overall fit and finish is really good...........
checked the bike throughly on clip ons, handle bar, silencer to see the negatives which i noticed in this thread.... but to my surprise everything is perfect and bike looks huge with huge tyres.
waiting for the TD on monday...

Guys who talk about cancelling, I was merely sharing my frustration here & if one reads my post clearly, I don't have problem in waiting as I've 3 vehicles; all I want is some official communication from HMSI on the launch date, be it Aug, Sep or even Dec. A RELIABLE & OFFICIAL information from HMSI is all I need.
Chennai gets the first display bike on a Friday evening while a dealer in Madurai gets 2-3 days earlier. I'm confused as why this discrepancy?
Few people in North have already got their vehicle in hand, while others are still waiting; there's a launch party by HMSI at Mumbai or Delhi & there was a news or rumor on nation wide launch somewhere in Apr end followed by deliveries & we're all wondering when that would happen. Amidst of all this, HMSI is providing a test ride for media while people who've booked the vehicle are not even getting attention, forget alone the test ride.
Despite all this, there seems to be full confusions with no clear dates on deliveries & to make matters worse, HMSI is still silent.
I don't need a red carpet welcome & champagne bottle with delivery, just some courtesy & clear COMMUNICATION. Can't a manufacturer provide this? If this is the kind of sales they make, I'm wondering how will they manage the service? All these thoughts are really frustrating!!!Skill is what keeps you on a Motorcycle

ATGATT + Awareness + Skill means you might Live To Ride another day

Seems people have a problem with my words so I wont reply to anyone
My dealer doesn't seem to budge about the bike.I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.
My Stable:
2009 & Present: HH Hunk Limited Edition [Red Striker]
2011 & Present: Honda CBR 250R [Black Blade]

I mean, if they can't keep up to demand why should they occupy the news-space with "We gave Media a ride".
And why even release a vehicle/ its bookings when you don't have it ready? Bookings are meant for 1 month or so. They are not meant for a period of 4 months- half an year.
Honda, can't you atleast keep in touch with the owners. For a CBR1000RR you come crossing 7 cities to replace a part. For CBR 250R, you can't even post a formal reply suggesting when things will be better? Why discriminate?
--
@ HH Hunk: but in the last few pages, you didn't even post a reply? So, who's having a problem with you?

Though I am not going to buy a CBR, I can understand the frustration of guys who have booked and going through HMSI's thamasha scheme of things.Originally posted by aargee View PostGuys who talk about cancelling, I was merely sharing my frustration here & if one reads my post clearly, I don't have problem in waiting as I've 3 vehicles; all I want is some official communication from HMSI on the launch date, be it Aug, Sep or even Dec.
