But be a little more patient if you really want the CBR. Else all your wait this long would go worthless.

Did you try to complain to honda officials about this?

It's rather late but I just went to take a test ride of the baby ceeber. The showroom guy was more interested in riding my Ninja than giving me a test ride. Finally, I rode it and here is what I felt:

          1. The initial pick-up is good, smooth gear shifts and smooth clutch operation.
          2. The idling sound is just like the Unicorn.
          3. When I pushed the bike, the throttle response was good but it sounded like a big bore Unicorn.
          4. The quality of finish at the clip-on bars and the frame near the engine is not up to the mark. You can clearly see the welding joints there.
          5. I rode the ABS version and braking was really spot on.
          6. Overall, the bike felt smaller as compared to my Kwacker.
          7. After riding the Honda, when I rode my Kawasaki, it seemed as if I was riding a 650cc or something. (no offense, just my feeling)

All in all, the Honda is a good sporty looking tourer but if you want a proper sport, spend a bit more and buy the Kwacker.
I liked this review and cbr lovers can rely on the experience what Dush has shared.

Really?? As Shivaprasad said, be a bit more patient. Else all your wait till now would go waste.

So it seems in the honda India site, the weight mentioned is only for the C-ABS one and in the Global site for the STD one..
Probably the weight mentioned on Indian website is including Saree guard and number plates.

Jayna motors in Borivali and Atharva motors in malad....I heard that Jayna is having around 25 bikes in his godown....I booked CBR in Kandivali Honda shop in April 1st week..and dealer told me that i wil get my bike after 4 months....wtf....i m expecting from bajaj or yamaha to launch 250cc bike in next 4 months..then i may cancel my booking with honda (only if bajaj or yamaha's product is good).....

                      • Finally got the test ride today People here at Satnam Honda are very responsive, and treatment was great for the people who are booking CBR's. It was just like being a VIP there .

I rode a non ABS one, and although i am not a pro at all, but still here is my review:
                        1. Smooth gearshifts and braking is good enough in non abs version.
                        2. Sound of exhaust is low enough.
                        3. Plastic quality of fairing and even tail side panels seems definitely low.
                        4. Fitting is ok for everything.
                        5. Pick up is ok ( probably i was expecting more )

so overall good to go and i am getting it. Its still not officially launched in jaipur, but showroom manager confirmed me that they will deliver me bike within 15-20 days or earlier. They will call me today or tomorrow to confirm when i will get delivery.

Anyone else in Mumbai heard the same crap from other dealers Pls confirm guys.

you can try sending mail to as many honda professionals as possible keeping in CC telling this. At least they will know that people are trying to open up the things.
