I can understand your feeling now, buy it if the reason is only a very minor scratch. Also check is this bike is not used for TD purposes. if its i won't recommend it.

Damn these dealers who are selling bikes to these third class brokers. We here are waiting from past 4 months and we dont have a clue as when our bikes will be delivered , these jacka$$ brokers just walk away with bikes as if it was made for them. SHAME ON THOSE DEALERS WHO ARE GIVING AWAY BIKES TO THEM..
I have called Haiku Honda Today Morning around 11 A.M, the representative told me that they had received 8 bikes this week but all were damaged badly. Hence they returned the bikes to Factory. I am sure he was hiding something there.

How can all bikes damaged during transport? We have to think this

Make sure, very sure that the only thing off with the bike is that scratch. With the dealers sensing business opportunities everywhere, there might be something else in it they may be trying to cover up as well. Once you're satisfied with the condition of the piece you're being delivered, go ahead and take it.

Having said that, i personally would wait. In the long run, you're not going to be sorry you had to wait a couple of extra weeks. But you'll always be nagged about the slight imperfection that you're aware of, no matter how many tankpads you can cover that up with.

        Just my two cents.

We cant do anything other than cancelling the booking. The dealers will always lie. They take the customers as granted and cook up stories..

Did you ask him when will he receive the next lot? Ask him how many will he be getting..

We can only show our anger/dissatisfaction to them. Then what..will be the next question. Do you think they will take this seriously..I doubt..

Only thing is that we need to wait if we need this bike..else we have other options..but one thing for sure..Honda will loose customers.

            • Guys finally got my Red ABS delivered yesterday and blocked a number also for the same yesterday:-)
I drove down from bhiwandi and first impression was a mixed feeling.Nothing exceptional not below par, it was ok ok. Jus hate its firing and worst the fuel filler cap as it comes out when you need to fill petrol like some age old bikes.Exceptionally smooth gearbox and engine. I already removed the saree guard from it the time i reached home Now actually in doubts whether to keep this or go in for Ninja

i checked the bike.. Its only the scratch (as of now ) .. Not even the oil leakage or so problem.. And the manager took the bike to their service centre in front of me.. (rode it) and it seemed well.. I will check all but have to wait till day after tommorow till he knows if he can delivery that display bike to me.. They even dont have any info on the oncoming lot..

@ sourav: i know that brother.. And wait would had been my option if everything was normal for me..
situation is, i have my exams in 3weeks.. In nasik and i stay in mumbai.. (170kms away) i need to take the bike there and should had been there already for preparation. But i am here waiting for the bike.. And if i dont buy it before i go.. I cant later (due to some probs ).. And the exams too are very important.. So i am impatient..

@ usman: congrats for the bike man! Good to know you got it delivered but sad to know it dint impress you..
btw, where had you booked it from? You brought the bike from bhivandi? Where there any more bikes there? Because, my dealer also has branch in bhivandi (sai point) and i guess their godown is there too..

First the few negatives of the bike.. And now the pathetic delivery thing is making me loose interest.. Honda, will indeed lose customers..
