Vijay, I honestly pray I had the confidence in CBR like you and the patience and peace of mind. I had no confusions till I rode an R15 for about 70km one day.Originally posted by vijaydutt View Post
Thanks for the update Sudeep. Will visit Saphire if Silicon will not call me this Saturday. At least I will have a taste of the sound.Originally posted by sudeepnbr View Post

Being an official test ride, I have the least hope to try CBR as much as I tried my friend's R15. Or at least toan extent, you will feel it was a decent test ride. It simply will not satiosfy you if Silicon takes you one round around the showroom.Originally posted by vijaydutt View PostBut you still not have tried the CBR...So I request you to keep the same patience and peace of mind. Yes, I can understand and let me not take you any more further as you will land up in more confusion than what your are in now. Just do what your heart says.Originally posted by shivaprasad.ms View PostBeing an official test ride, I have the least hope to try CBR as much as I tried my friend's R15. Fyi, in my last visit to Silicon, last saturday, Ajaz, the MD, told me the test rides would probably start this Saturday or latest next Monday. Regarding deliveries, he told me my number 11 would fall in third lot. Each lot would have 4 bikes and there would be a gap of 8-10 days between successive consignments. By this, my delivery would happen in May end or early June. The riding window got pretty much closed due to monsoons

They just informed me that it would take 4 to 5 months!!!!!! I have no clue wtf is taking so effing long... I might cancel the booking if its going to take 4 to 5 months.

This thread is equally reserved for people who think otherwise about CBR250R. As, long as it does not go off topic, I dont see why anyone should take it personally if someone points out his dislike.
People who are waiting to spend their hard earned 1.5 lacs deserve to know the +ves and -ves of the product an no better place than this thread.

The credibility remains intact when we are allowed to speak off the chest but that should come in a positive note man. I remember when Ninja was launched, it was not even compared with R15(installed racing kits). Its due to the price diff and of course the tech specs. If someone is comparing R15 with CBR 250r, then it can be only done in terms of the looks and handling. Nowhere it comes closer to CBR if performance is the concern. I have sold off my R15 last month and am sure CBR wont be disappointing me. One must get sure what he wants from his bike and it would soothe purpose or not?Originally posted by shivaprasad.ms View PostThank you Vijay

Mr.Firen, hold your fire. Just do not spew it for the heck of it. I have not been condemning or praising any bike out of my heart. I have spoken the facts and have made comments out of the official reviews out for CBR if not in India elsewhere. I am not the only one into such comparisons and it strikes naturally anyone to compare because we only have R15 and CBR as Indian sports bikes in decent budget. I am not into childish arguments as "polio attacked bike" either.
If we are to only praise CBR because this is a CBR thread, so that fans like you are not irritated, I doubt the credibility of forums like this.
Do not confuse the potential buyers over here unless you guys have tested the bike from every angle. wheelocity on zee business has already said the cbr is better than ninja 250r in terms of handling. If R15 is better than cbr in handling point, then ninja is inferior to R15
TO THE POTENTIAL BUYERS: just read the opinions of ppl over here but do not get biased with it.sigpic
Your bike is way better than babes, only thing is that you need a proper vision to mull over this fact. :D

I would advice you to stay at JSP and have a close eye on your dealer and bug him everyday
, to my knowledge LODHA honda in tambaram has low bookings ! But still if u can wait for 45 days ... you would get it in JSP itself .. ( again keep a close eye on your dealer )
