The sport bike classes in common usage are:[12][18][18][19]
    • Lightweight, also called entry level, small or beginner bikes.[14][20][21] Some two strokes in this class have dramatically higher performance than the four strokes, being likened to miniature superbikes.[12] Sport bikes with engine displacements of up to about 500 cc (31 cu in) are usually in this class.[4]
    • Middleweight,[18] mid-sized, mid-level,[14] or supersport.[12] Some of the models in this range qualify for racing in the classes AMA Supersport Championship, British Supersport Championship and the Supersport World Championship, but many middleweights do not have a significant presence in racing. Displacements of 600–750 cc (37–46 cu in) are typical.[4]
    • Superbike,[18] liter-class, or literbike, i.e 1,000 cc (61 cu in).[4] As with supersport, many of the models in this class compete in superbike racing.
      • Open class, hypersport or hyperbike[20][22][23] are terms sometimes used in lieu of superbike as a catch-all for everything larger than middleweight.[19][20][24][25][26] Alternatively, these terms mark a class above the superbikes for the largest displacement sport bikes with the highest top speeds, with weights somewhat greater than the superbike class.[4][8][27][28]

    +1.
btw in india most people ride 150cc bike and think they are riding fighter plan on the ground (me too ), so expecting a 250cc to be a super-bike is obvious.
I just think it as a bike with more power and better look combination with good price, no comparo at all.

It is not a negative feedback, it just does not suit my style. You should take a Test Ride and then decide.

However, there are a lot of new bikes to be launched this year. It wont harm to wait and watch.

(This is purely subjective) Its definitely worth it if someone is thinking to upgrade in the price band that CBR is being offered.

I guess my souped up 220 (Joel'd) will be in service for some more time, and the 1.5 lac Rupees will be saved for something big or if Bajaj decides to reduce the price of Ninja 250.
You own the most fun bike .

Thats not a negative feedback. He is only saying how he felt about baby CBR. A Souped by Joeled 220 can scare the daylight out of a stock 250 So it wont be worth for him to spend 1.5L for a 250cc bike like CBR.

Best is to take a test ride and decide. No-one can guide u better than ur own heart. Because when it comes to automobiles, you should always go by ur heart.

Thanks ThisPointer! I've booked my CBR from Rohan Honda too. Pashankar in Pune seems to be a little shady. I'd been to their office today, and my number in the list is now 20. First it's 14, then 31 and now 20. It's supposedly the updated list.
Not a prob bro. Pashankar is seriously shady... I'm almost certain that my bike won't come anytime before last week of may... Thanks to Rohan Honda at least I've got hopes...

I got mine delivered yesterday from Ganapati Honda (Gurgaon Palam-Vihar branch).
It was a surprise call from them in the afternoon about the bike being available in display. then i asked about the delivery and told them that I was going to make full payment in cash. they called me up and in evening by 06:00 PM the baby was mine to have.
went for 50 km one hour ride.

Initial observation : well its a mixed feeling as of now.
                    • bike really looks cool (awesome for its price).
                    • Seat is not very comfortable.
                    • Pickup is good. (Not quite what i was expecting.

If there are so many things that need to be replaced, I do not understand one thing. What is Honda charging the big money for? Just the engine then? Apart from the engine and few other core components, we have got a negative or mixed feedback on many parts, fit and finish. Is Honda taking the full money as price for the engine and giving the rest of the bike as complementary??

Again, this sort of mixed feedbacks give rise to another question - Is it a sports bike? What is the forte of this bike ? A stupid jack of all

+10 to your comments there buddy...last week i had been to the showroom to check out the vehicle and i saw couple of joints which were loose...yes i certainly understand there needs to be some sort of play between panels but that was an entire field of play area.......
The rear panels had these some sort of push up nuts that need to be used by applying force for sticking of two panels together...i really dont know if they will last long when the bike is doing 150+ speed.....
                        Iam in doubts too.....

, get jet soon, fly safe.

ooops, forgot to share. I have also booked black std fighter plane at sapphire Honda. I asked the guy intensively and he said there are 7(5+2 display) bikes and 2nd lot will probably come on 15th may.
I have 3rd number in Black CBR std version, so I will get it in second lot.

and not to forget the delay in bangalore launch is because of RTO.

and ya, I have the highest patience, still didn go see the bike. will take test ride directly, hopefully.

Changing them as per your taste is always an option.
If you like the bike because of the technology, handling, FE, riding position or be it anything, Does these minor things make much of a difference? Does it?
