      • what tires (or is it tyres) is the bike provided with. how was its performance.
      • How was the suspension? Is the rear mono shock adjustable? does the front end dive aggressively under hard braking?
      • Are there any chances of vibrations creeping in due to loose panels and stuff? How good it the windshield.
      • hows the pillion seat compared to the likes of r15 and kwaker 250r.
      • Can the c-ABS be switched off. Can we just have the ABS and switch of the combine braking system?
      • Finally is it a worthy upgrade from a r15. Answer expected from a city commuter, highway commuter, fun to ride camparo .

If ive asked questions that have already been answered im sorry. Man this thread has literally turned into a war zone.

Hey Kedar, which dealer did you book your bike from?? i've booked it from Rajee in Nuvem, I called them on 30th they still have no clue when they will be receiving the bike. When did you book your's.

One interesting thing i wanted to point out or ask other owners of CBR's from other state was that if they had the mechanic guy visit ur home after few days of delivery done as this has happend in hyderabad to all the bikes they delivered. The guy checked the oil level, coolent and also completely removed the gear lever and readjusted it to my comfort.

wow! that is so super cool! it looks like it has been custom built for u! i hav decided am going for red!
there has been complaint about oil leaks in few CBR's ! i noticed a leak in cbr kept in madurai showroon as well! may be they r trying to remove those complaints in all the first hand delivery bikes!!!!!!!!
anyway post some reviews and plzzzzzzzz more pics if u can!!!!!!
          thanx

          • Request you few new owners for the feedback

As we have heard/seen that most display bikes have had quality issues in all places. Some of them are listed below:
            1. Ill fitted fairing joints
            2. Chipping of paint on clip-ons and rear grab handles
            3. Peeling of the silver paint along the bottom edge of the seat cowl.
            4. My observation in Silicon Honda, Blore - The engine undercowl had split-opened in the front nosy point. Yuck!!!
            5. Nuts and bolts worn out due to rough handling (or ?).
            6. Crudely buffed aluminium foot peg frames

You few early and lucky owners there, please share with us all, if you still have these or other quality/finish problems on yoru bikes. It was being spoken that display bikes were hurriedly done and delivery bikes would be good in these respects.

hey Will. No ive not booked the bike but i was thinking about trading in my r15 for a c-abs version. Ill wait and decide whether to go with the buy or not. If i dont find any substantial diff between r15 and 250r, the r15's a keeper. what i am looking for is a bit more low end torque than r15, less aggressive sitting posture etc. all this while matching the performance of the yamaha.

Do the Rajee's have a bike on display and test ride. I enquired at vistar honda a few days back and they didnt seem too keen on answering to my query.

Shiv, The bike which was on display in Silicon RV road was sent from Sapphire Honda JP nagar. We saw the bike being assembled hurriedly over there in the ware house. Even I noticed those (point 5 & 6). As there was lot of pressure on the Honda people in Bangalore they have assembled it in a hurry and dispatched.

I am sure the bike which we get for delivery will be of good quality.

On Point number 4, It is a handling problem of the showroom guys..No need to worry about this. Once you get the bike (if you are buying a CBR), you will be really happy. I am sure.

NO rajee dont have the bike on display. They dont even know when the bike will be arriving Goa. I'm a little disappointed as i booked the bike on the 1st of jan. Cause most of he neighbouring states have received atleast display vehicles. its getting abit frustrating at this point.

I just want to know from the xbhpians whu hv got d chance to test ride CBR or own it, if they got the feeling of riding a super bike or a big bike or it ws like riding just another bike wid few more cc..

Thats quite a relief, thanks Nevertheless, the point on poorly buffed aluminium, has not got to do with the hurried assembling of the bike. It comes just so from the factory. In this aspect, Unicorn (old) has much better finished aluminium and this is disappointing to get such low grade finish by paying a heavy amount.

And, in Saphire Honda, I saw a streak of mud splashed from the front tire on the engine and up till the radiatior. In rainy season, if lot of mud gets deposited on the radiator, its efficiency might come down. CBR could come with some cover like R15
