Mate its practically possible .. I ll tell you how ! I dint go to big dealers like Didar , KUN or even JSP ! ... I went to a dealer where there are not alot of bookings ! As we all know every dealer gets a set of lot ! and in my case its possible

i had been to dreams honda today and saw those two bikes also bt they hav got red n black tat to both are non ABS n the next lot is supposed to cum by 5th of may it does not include any CBR in it as i saw the log book. n i went thru all the bookings too as per the date, when did u book ur bike? as i was supposed 2 b the 3rd person who has booked it...i had booked on 10th feb........
another update d next lot is cumn on 15th may which has CBR in it

This is my first post here. I have been holding out until there was some definite info on the CBR delivery.
I had booked a non-ABS, red/silver CBR on 2nd Jan 2011 at haiku honda domlur(bangalore) and have been eagerly waiting for delivery confirmation ever since. Until 17th april, it was always the "Karnataka RTO has not yet approved the bike for sale, pls wait" story.
I had to come to Japan on a work assignment from 18th April and guess what????
I get news yesterday that my CBR will be delivered next wednesday as the first bike delivered from Haiku honda domlur.
I wont be able to pick up the bike, my dad will take the delivery. Since he is a bigger fanatic of anything on wheels than I am, I am happy that he gets to do this.
Cant wait for this trip to get over and get back to my CBR. 2 more months to go...

Usman I can't just go on and argue with Om Sai for the bike. I require some proof and if that bike has been delivered by Om Sai. If u can get some mobile snap of the same. I can bring this to the notice of HMSI as I am the first person in the list to receive the Black ABS bike. I am bugging the guy everyday but he has been persuading me that the bike will be there in the second lot. Finally went to Dhruvdesh Honda Mekhri circle to see the bike. My thoughts
-Ve's:
1) The cockpit section looks very very small, the console too is tiny, definitely needed a bigger one, if you look at the cockpit from the riders position, you feel there is something missing.
2) The clipons, they look confused, they too look very small and the quality could definitely have been better.
3) The plastic above the tail light doesn't look long lasting.
+Ve's :-
1) The paint looks of good quality.
2) Tyres, if it wasn't for the tyres this bike would have been a disaster (looks wise).
3) The bike looks best from rear.
I feel the customer is paying just for the Honda engine and Chasis, the rest of the bike is just a bonus (Joking). I mean at that price point it is definitely a good buy, but Honda could definitely have done a better job.

hey vineet! Did you book it from mira road as well? I think you should man!! I was 10th when booked and then 7th day before yesterday.. Still i got a call yesterday and they said they have a black cbr and i can take it home as soon as i pay.. I wanted a red one so waiting.. The next red std to come will be mine.. And i guess, the bookings still wont be more than 40 here..
