This is my first post here. I have been holding out until there was some definite info on the CBR delivery.
I had booked a non-ABS, red/silver CBR on 2nd Jan 2011 at haiku honda domlur(bangalore) and have been eagerly waiting for delivery confirmation ever since. Until 17th april, it was always the "Karnataka RTO has not yet approved the bike for sale, pls wait" story.
I had to come to Japan on a work assignment from 18th April and guess what????
I get news yesterday that my CBR will be delivered next wednesday as the first bike delivered from Haiku honda domlur.
I wont be able to pick up the bike, my dad will take the delivery. Since he is a bigger fanatic of anything on wheels than I am, I am happy that he gets to do this.
Cant wait for this trip to get over and get back to my CBR. 2 more months to go...
uploading the pic of the display bike at haiku...
    Did you get the bike????
    Yamaha Enticer: 2003 - SOLD
    Royal Enfield Thunderbird : 2005 - SOLD
    Yamaha FZ 16: 2008 - SOLD

I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

Thanks guys. But I did not understand the part where overflowing fuel/water comes? Is it something like excess fuel will get wasted or for what is it?

The XX-10 is huge. Its very bulky and heavy. I use the XX-6 and it fits perfectly on my ninja and you can also store it under the rear seat. It has a 120dB alarm too. Recommended over the XX-10 for ease of storage.

It'll help in locking the wheel to a railing or a pole for added security or locking the wheel within the forks itself.

The Xena locks fit most bikes. The one i have fits the R15 too.

Can someone tell me how this Disc Lock works? Once the alarm starts, will it go off after some time? I really don't want it screaming forever in our parking lot, if someone just tries to move it a bit to make some room..

Well you just lock it onto the disc and after a few seconds it arms itself. There is a beep to signify that the lock is armed.

If there is any movement in the front wheel, the alarm gives a warning tone and then goes full blast for around 10 seconds. It stops after that. Further movement will trigger the alarm again. The alarm is a loud ear piercing high pitch chirping sound.

Another feature is that if the lock is placed high above on the disc the sensitivity is higher.... lower sensitivity as the lock is placed lower down in the disc.

Check the video's on you tube or on the link i have provided.

I'm sure it'll fit the CBR Just for your satisfaction, i'll check it out and let you know as soon as the cbr's join us for the rides

Like i mentioned, anything over the XX-6 is an overkill (but personally its the buyers choice) and the XX model is the best. Bluevolt had ordered the XN model but it was defective (the alarm was not working, but the lock could still be used).

I think you can check it out with the PRS guys, they should be able to bring it in for you if it is available outside India.

They were selling the frame sliders and other stuffs for N250R and also some after market stuff for R15 as well.
