    My excitement has plummeted after hearing all the news about quality of parts on the CBR units which have been delivered. I hope Honda fixes these quality issues in the bikes being delivered.

      I am canceling mine as well, its ninja 250r or any higher cc from Yamaha.

      Would never go for Honda again and neither recommend it.

          I thought of booking after a test ride. But, all these issues makes me think "Should i book" I think CBR 250R will be there only in my dream and in my desktop wallpaper

          It will be better if some other manufacturer, probably Yamaha, launch a 250cc and make Honda feel the heat

            bro have already posted pic along with my post please check a few pages back. And even am going to probiking mostly 2morrow to check out ninja 250 and inquire about the delivery period for the green colour

              surprise call 4m honda

              I have booked this bike on Jan15 from palakkad and I got a call from the dealer that my bike will be delivered to me on wed.. I have been following this thread from the beginning and I'm a little scared regarding the quality Issues faced. THe dealer's are keeping a keeping a small function as It is the 1st delivery .. hope so my bike is coming without any issues.. fingers crossed

                Do a thorough PDI and don't accept the bike if you are not satisfied.

                  Good News Guys today as on 8th May 2011 I have also booked my bike silver abs version cbr finally but I have told my dealer aka The owner of Honda as he is my brother that I will take the delivery in January 2012 after seeing all the great and good launches u never know if I go for some other or wait for something better otherwise she is there for me.
                  But I wana wait and watch the show.

                    If Dealer is your brother then Why do you require to book a bike and what's point in booking a bike and getting in after 1 year .

                    It like I can say , Hey guys i have booked R1 today and delayed the delivery till Jan 2014 ,If any other Japs superbike is released via CKD/SKD before that then I will cancel my booking and save a fortune ,Smart move from my side.

                      I am going to ask them if they have any other color available like blue or red or can get it on special request. I dnt like green and black is too common.

                          Well said Swift, I was eagerly waiting for the test ride, but the excitement has died down, may go to test ride R15 after hearing all this.

                          Even removed my desktop wallpaper though it looks best as wallpaper

                            Saw one parked outside a college today. This was the first time I was seeing the bike. Walking by had a glance and was amused how someone wanted to modify his FZ into a R15 and then my eyes bagan to open up. MAN I was blown off by what I saw WOW what a site. This looked totally beyond what I saw in pics. Pics cant do justice to something like this. You need to see it in flesh. I remember I felt very good when I saw FZ16 and P220 in flesh but this was totally amazing. For this money this has to be the bike. This was in black silver combo.

                            I did not know that deliveries have starter . Need to book one soon even if it means taking it out only on weekends for some highway fun

                              well said bro the bike does look amazing in flesh and makes all the other bikes around it look like paani kam chai....but the excitement and fun about the bike just died after reading the above reviews and problems
