Kun is worst, atleast, that's what I've been hearing. Try finding out how many motorcycle's have Kun sold so far. May be we can make a guesstimate.

Yo, guys after blasting my dealer in front of the Honda guys ( in the launch function in pune) immediately the next day i got a call from my dealer asking me to make the payment for the bikeOriginally posted by ViggyRSA View PostI had got the information about the launch function in pune from a inside source,so i rushed out for the launch function. They were allowing only the dealers and the media guys whereas i am just a customer. So at the entrance i told them i belong to a media organisation called 250r.in(jazz) and told them that am not carrying my press id card
as i was held up with some other work! they immediately allowed me inside
spoke to some really important people from HMSI and got their contact number to keep a track on the deliveries in pune. Will keep you guys updated with the updates
And last night there was only one red cbr in the first lot that had come and that was mine
So today morning i went to the showroom just to ask about the delivery of the bike... but the dealer said your bike has finally come
I immmediately made the payment! it has gone for registration..ill be getting it in couple of days..I have followed each and every page of this thread and it was really useful for me to understand the bike.
Thank you guys..will be uploading the pics soon

My Angel with wings or rather My "winged" Angel !!
I finally had my black Std CBR delivered to me today morning. Really did not have time to get acquainted as I had to rush back to work (Had taken a half day leave as I could not wait till evening
) But the 5 kilometers that I rode her
from showroom to work
was pure bliss !!! Felt like she was carrying me on her wings. Now cant wait for the weekend to come as I really want to take her to Lonavala for a romantic night together
Just the two of us and the Twisties ofcourse
Guys, Without this forum I would never have survived the 3 to 4 months of agonizing pain that was "THE WAIT" ( My heart used to start pounding every time I got a call from an unknown number hoping it would be the call). Thanks a lot guys!!
I guess I should move over to the ownership thread now !! Its still not sunk-in yet I guess !!
What is the minimum advice able fuel level that I should maintain?CBR250R-2011-

yesterday i check my coolant level and saw that the tank was empty. So got pissed at the dealer but decided to put some myself. However the coolant was flowing out like a stream from underneath the tank. Initially i thought that it was a leak but later i found out that the stop tube\valve of the drainage of the coolant tank was absent.
the service center people had fixed it at no charge but they took pictures of the case, stating it is required to be reported to Honda.
I think Honda ought to have a stringer quality review process... either forgot to attached the valve or else the valve was not tighten properly at the time of manufacture.....
One more thing the engine seems to heat up while riding at lower speeds..... so much that i can feel the heat on my legs even through my jeans..... not a nice sensation ..... asked the Honda guys .... they said its normal .......as long as the temp ind is showing 3 bars..... any bar more and they said its a matter of concern. Sometimes i think my legs will roast up.
Has any one got theirs serviced? At my service center they are using a Honda oil - 10W30 (FS or SS no idea).... is it any good ???
i have some motul 300v at home which i want to put in my first servicing but some are saying to use it after the running in period....
Any comments guys????

Hey Guys..!!!
This is Navaneeth.. Got my CBR 2 days back..!!
Had booked it on 1st of Jan at Chandra Honda Coimbatore..
It took me around 5 emails to Honda and daily attendance to my dealer to get it delivered.
They were giving me all sorts of excuses like "waiting for honda's soft launch in the city" to "deliveries have been stopped from honda".
Got a call on 25th May from the dealer asking me to take delivery.
Nothing special about the delivery. But got the keys handed over by the dealership's MD.
He mentioned I was the 1st one to take delivery in Coimbatore.. Ride responsibly etc.
There were a few pictures taken and thats all. No goodies... One point to note is Honda had made it clear that all person taking delivery should wear protective gear (helmets, knee pads, etc) and a picture of that taken will be sent to honda. Not sure if this is true..
Asked them about run-in period, the service guy said there is none. I had planned to take to chennai (thats where I live) and he only mentioned to keep a watch on the coolant levels and not to drive continuously.
She is a awesome looker and all the way through I got a lot of attention on the road. (except when I went to get my number printed, the person asked me if it was the Unicorn
)

I went and paid the remaining amount today. But I will be visiting the showroom again tomorrow to see the bike and then ask them to go ahead with the registration process. He said I can get the delivery on Thursday.

Congrats on the purchase guys. @ Navneeth: Bro, when I got the quotation from Pressana Honda in Lakshmi Mills, they had said 1.64 on the final purchase. That includes 3000 for accessories it seems. Can u clarify what includes in the accessories for 3K. Did they mention insurance for the pillion????Last edited by Suru; 05-31-2011, 12:05 PM.
