We dont even have a clue whether we are gonna get our CBRs this year or the next year. I feel like cursing Honda for this damn waiting and confusion

Buddy i think you are one of the guys who booked in early Jan rite and you from Mumbai. Is it that difficult in Mumbai also?

Its much better than getting it.. parking it at home and sitting in office whole day. Thats what I have been doing this whole week. Planning to take a day off on Friday to ride and I hope rain god will not play a prank again. I got my bike this monday and took a day off, but it rained in the evening.

Well I booked on 17th Feb (Pretty Late).

The sales rep gives me the same reply everytime I go there, "Sir aapki CBR aane wali hogi tab hum aapko call karenge, aap tension mat lo sir, aapko aapki CBR miljaayegi!"

whooaaah! sorry guys missed a few pages of this thread!
now here is my post INTERVAL movie!!!!!!!!
i had first booking from laxmi honda(jan 1st),who were first to receive two black display

on april, prior to any showrooms from metros !(later they had to share one with another dealer KALYAANI HONDA) ! but somehow LAXMI HONDA did not manage to get even a single bike for delivery as on yet!

meantime i heard kalyaani honda received two RED CBR"S yesterday!! i went to their showroom, talked to the manager and said i have booking from another showroom and asked him if he can deliver me the red one if i paid immediately! he checked into his records and said - ok sir , if u can pay now u can hav it tomorrow! i took out my cheque book and wrote a poetry in their name! i never felt so happy writing figures in my che.book!

YES AM GETTING MY RUBY TOMORROW!

this was shocker! no one beleived me ! its like getting CBR without a booking ! something like a last ball sixer!!!!

I hope the one you are getting is not being snatched from its rightful owner as in the one who actually booked it!

i would never dream of snatching! i know what waiting is!!! i waited for 8 months myself from the day i heard rumors of CBR launch!
may be the dealers r faking the booking figures!they may not have that much bookings or may be the guys who booked here may not hav turned up with payment!
a bird in hand is better than two in the bush!!!!!!!! may be this clicked for me! anyway i do not find any diehard fans or admirers of CBR here in my town!

was anybody lucky to get the bike from Haiku Honda, Bangalore

These guys dont even provide a test ride though I have booked the bike on 10th of Jan, Still no. The showroom has a decent answer that the vehicle which was for test ride had lot of issues so couldn't get registered in RTO (I am seeing the C-ABS Red for past many days though). I doubt even this showroom is involved in some kind of deal to seel in black market.

If you've not done the test ride yet, why don't you try in other showrooms. Most of the showrooms are giving test rides to who ever comes and asks. You need not have to book in the same showroom.

Booking no's

They definitely are. Went to Noble Honda,Erode,TN ystday and tere was a Red Std kept for display. The customer care guy said there are 18bookings and I had to wait for 3months if I book immediately but im certain to know tere r not more than 5bookings. Came to know from Noble Honda,Nammakkal which is wer I reside,who promised me the bike in the nxt arriving lot. So tey r just increasing the booking no's to develop a hype,dunno why.

Finally I got my CBR on 1st June 10 AM..

I was heavily raining here during delivery time. Completed 60 kms in heavy rain. I have got Non ABS Red CBR. Bike is very stable in wet conditions. Left mirror and handle bar end weight are loose, I need to fix that. Waiting for to log more kms in the odo..

Congratulations John! You had initially booked the Black CBR, right?
Regarding the mirrors, I think it should be a bit loose than being too tight.
