oooops!! So there is no fuel tap for FI!! Sorry.. Dint know that as not used any FI till date.. (would be cool if someone can explain the logic behind it.. Ofcourse if not going too much OT..)Originally posted by Youngking View PostHi Bro! Since it is fuel injected obviously there should not be any fuel tap
. Better bring the habit of filling neck to neck
! Enjoy the ride!!
will have to keep it filled.. Or.. Dhakka maro..between the road..

The FI system uses a pump to inject the fuel forcibly with some pressure. Hence the pump always needs to be wet with fuel to prevent any cavitation issues. If the pump is run dry without fuel it may hamper the pump. Hence fuel taps are avoided to prevent such scenarios. Hence it is always advised not to completely dry your bike before refueling, to avoid any air entering the pump. Hope you might have got the point why the tap is missing in any FI bikes!Originally posted by MeTaL_MaNiaC View Postoooops!! So there is no fuel tap for FI!! Sorry.. Could you please confirm?? Is it from India only or outside??
I'm wondering why is it like that, if its in India.07 HH Zma

Below is the apt reply, but just that the fuel pump is IMMERSED in the fuel tank to remain cool (due to the motor running inside the fuel pump to pump the fuel) & hence has always to remain under the fuel most of the time. A heated pump can ignite the fuel as well & needless to say the consequenceOriginally posted by MeTaL_MaNiaC View Postwould be cool if someone can explain the logic behind it.. I'm wondering why is it like that, if its in India.Originally posted by HH_HUNK View PostNo INDIAN coz no Saree Guard and no akward number place also in the background at the top, there is something written in some other language, I guess its THAI.Originally posted by xionite View Postthis is not in india.
the CBR250R in india comes with Continental ContiGO! tyres.
the tyres in the pic are RoadRunners.
plus the honda scooter in the background kinda gives away the fact
that it's not india.
Thats true guys...Originally posted by onlinesatish View PostOut of india i guess. Look at the bike/scooter (or watever) behind the CBR!
I posted the pic from Net....
Saw that this particular pic was not posted in this thread as of now
If I go for the CBR, I'd surely give silver as 1st preference

Oops!! I forgot to notice the scooter, Thai text in the background, Saree guard and the number plate thing.
Noticed only the tyre the first time I saw the pic. My bad.
Thanks!Sudeep P Nambiar
