i went to the honda showroom at THANE Almeida rd.they had 2 reds out of which 1 was abs equipped. bike looks neat,no test-drive yet since the bikes are not cleared yet is what the sales guy said.he mentioned a silver color variant, i havent yet seen pictures of this though.whats the scene?

Finally the CBR is here at my place (Cuttack,Orissa).I visited the showroom today and man it was looking A.W.E.S.O.M.E.Hats off to Honda (hats toh kya,my whole wardrobe off to Honda).I asked when the delivery will start and the sales-man said after 10th June.I was like,WTF man.Tomorrow there will be some formal launch and after that the test-ride would be given.
My observations:
1)The seating position was very comfortable.
2)Plastics quality are of top quality,though there were some fading and peeling of colour on the handle bar.
3)The bike was very well proportioned,neither small nor big.Just Perfect.
4)I loved the meaty tyres.It looked great.
5)As many reported about the plastic quality not upto the mark,but it looked as a typical HONDA to me.
Waiting for the test ride.When i entered the showroom i asked the sales-man whether it is the ABS version or not,he said Sir this is CBR and not ABS.He repeated it two times.My friend couldn't stop laughing.Nevertheless a great bike from Honda,a masterpiece.This is the best VFM bike currently in India.I hope to buy it someday,can't buy it now.

My P220 will not fall apart before another 2years and there's no reason to believe that I won't have more options then.Comment

The dealer guy in ahmbd told me that Honda is delaying the ABS version by 2 months or more due to some complication. Is this true as i can find only 1 or 2 ABS versions delivered to dealers at every location in one batch..
Any idea on this issue?
