Will I be the only person not to like the silver colored Alloy wheels?

I checked the bike in Haiku Honda, Bangalore; it was a red one. I fell in love with the bike for its looks however I felt that the black painted parts are very dull just like in the unicorn. The paint on the clip on & the rear grab rails are dull and looks like a single coat.
Paint job was much better in Hero Honda ZMR, at least it had the brilliance. Honda certainly needs to work on this matter.

Ya silver looks great in this. but i like red from the launch. That doesn't mean i don like Black ! usual confusion

I have gone for Black though. Let me justify my choice.
Silver - it looks so neat and elegant, any stickering or paint job would spoil the look.
Red - it is eye catching and more numbers will be on road and i may lose the unique factor. More over my prev bike was red, my car is red so thought i would give some rest to red.
Black - Have a plan to custom paint and the black can easy adapt, i have already started collecting matching leathers and gears .

                • Live from Hyderabad : Bikes have reached most of the dealers and are being displayed. Pratul honda somajiguda got 8 bikes among which 3 are C-ABS red and the rest are a combitnation of red and black non abs mdels. Red ABS will be on display in some time. Test drives will also be given provided you have already booked the bike :P I do have some pics but already there are loads of pics in this thread so never mind.

Met an xbhp member ajay at pratul. Nice meeting you dude.

                  Initial report :
Bike looks like a scaled down VFR.
                  speedo looks tiny yet elegant.
Wheels look huge, These contribute a lot in making the bike a looker.
                  Headlights are pretty powerful.
Space under the seat is good.
Plastics are of good quality but the fitment could have been better.
the gear and brake levers are mounted high, Which I personally dint feel comfortable. (Maybe because I'm used to my 220)

Test drives were going to start in an hour but was getting late to work so had to rush. Also I was there through out the pdi being done by a professional who came from the plant. Saree guard is an optionla fitment and comes along with the bike. My dealer said he wont fit it If I dont want it to be fitted. ( I sure will get the guard home cause it can be used a grill )

The ABS indicator on the console was ON through out the pdi. When asked, the guy said it should be on untill you cross 10 kmph.
Engine oil quantity for an oil change is 1.1L and over all capacity is 1.4 ltrs.

He also told me to make sure the fuel is always above 3.2 ltr because if it goes under 3.2 (that's reserve) there might be a possibility of air gap.
Never get your bike washed outside as the high pressure gun will messup the naked sensors on the engine and which are thrown all over the engine.

                      hi young king!
my bike is right there and these buggers r not giving me! my booking is first in madurai! the dealer here is waiting for the nod from hmsi! he says may be 10 more days for the delivery to start! when i said it has already started in haryana and delhi, he is not ready to accept! there is one more showroom here in madurai with no display bike! so probably they r waiting for all showrooms to have adequate CBR's before starting deliveries! only god n hmsi know!!!

OT : Yup, It sure can be used as a barbecue. Most of the cbr owener will do that when they go for a week end get away. Even getting the guard off the bike is simple. 3 screws and its off. Very sime and not at all time taking .

As Long as you can put a creative mind for thinking you can use it for loads of things.
