Sorry, if the photos are not visible, it is the simple rear view where the exhaust looks long and flat like cricket bat to me

Please see the attached thumbnail. The exhaust could have been stubbier like the FZ :-|

Shiva, I think it is better to look at the bike in flesh and take a call.
I think it is the angle of the view which is making look like that. The picture might have be cropped/ resized or etc... If you look at the videos the exhaust looks good. IMO

I guess the mesh is added to protect the radiator form the pebbles possibly rocketing towards it from the front tire :-|

The free fairing replacement was provided only to the older lot of R15, the new ones are factory fitted with the new kit so you need not worry about getting it replaced.
