One more to spoil the exclusivity of the CBR . Bits like the shared switch gear and indicators had already taken away the premium feel of the bike and had made it look just another big Unicorn/Stunner. Atleast these bits should bear their source to the real CBRs... For example, R15 shares its indicators and headlights with R1.

@vijaydutt, check out the exhaust in this view as well. The image is in proper dimensions. I feel it would look no different in reality. It IS a cricket bat No offence though

    • Hunk is not inspired and is more than 3 year old bike when 250R was not in the talks

But still both the rears of Hunk & CBR do match
      I have a Hunk & now CBR
      No problems to me
I am unique and so is my baby. Why do people create a fuss about premium bike and all that?
I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

2011 & Present: Honda CBR 250R [Black Blade]

bro!!a vehicle's launch needs at least 5years of research!!since i am in an automotive company i can assure you that a premium product is planned very much early and is tested to the core which need a lot and lot of time and Japanese are very rigid in tests!! i feel the Honda might have tested its design on a normal segment bike like hunk so as to get response!!

        • [QUOTE= You forgot to mention that the bike pics are not in the same scale. the 250R looks tiny in the first pic! [/QUOTE]

I tried to keep the scale from big to small hence that way. Infact it DOES look small compared to its bigger siblings.

With no intentions to spark arguments: it is only obvious that, not being a fan boy of the CBR, one expects it to have that premium bike feel when it is demanding a premium price. Already with hardly any true identity of its real CBR siblings, and with these negatives as shared parts, Hunk like looks etc etc, the CBR (really?) is nothing more than an aesthetically and technologically improved Karizma with a worse muffler and with disproportionate price hike !!! Again, just my opinion.
Lets wait to see if the bike really has that overly hyped magnetism.

Yes.. it will definitely be smaller.. but my point was that it looks tiny because the scale is not the same for all the bikes in that pic..

Completely agree with you, the bike is looking really TINY because of the incorrect scale.

I remember such huge hype for R15, ZMR & even ZMA.

                    Some appreciate and some criticize

For me even my Hunk is the best in its class and CBR is the best in its own class

The muffler is sweet, what about Ninja? See the price and the bike, I dont think its worth but then its my opinion.

                    CBR FTW!!!!

The CBR250r is a world bike.. with 20+ patents. Plus, it shares its styling with CBR125R & CBR150R too. I also read on some honda site that they asked for CBR concepts from the Honda Research Centres all over the world to know the styling requirement and tastes of different continents or countries. After receiving, they were studied and then the final product (CBR) was designed and finished. This is only the styling. The engine too was build all new. How much time you think this all must have took?? Definately around five to six years, IMO.

                            Yes dude, please elaborate.
I mean the bikes must be in warehouse or storage yard, right? How did your friend saw in on road?

Like others even he might have seen a VFR on road!

                            • Had just been to Haiku Hinda, Domlur Bangalore. Mr Prasanna said the bikes are well over due, and should have been here by now. Said delivery will be by the 20th

Woa, can we confirm this? Hope its not a false alarm. Like the last time they saw VFR in Mumbai.
If this piece of info is true, I am taking leave from office, just to have a glimse.

So that means, the bike should be here any moment. Maybe all dealers are keeping it silent for the launch in Bangalore(maybe rumour) they were planning.
And can we please ignore the scale of pics by myg24, rather I should say good effort to give a picture of that sort.
