Hey, will you tell us where in Delhi?Originally posted by sid1509 View PostHi all,
Good news. Display bikes have reached the showroom in delhi. I had taken a day off today and generally just called the dealer to check on the status. He said they have got two display bikes (red, STD and ABS) a few hours ago and if I want, I can see them. I was at the showroom in no time and voila, there they were in flesh and blood. Absolutely droolworthy stuff. I must say, all the speculation about size etc be put to rest. This one from Honda is HOT!!!!!. clicked it from all angles, will be uploading pics in just a bit. No test rides as yet. Good news is, mine is the first booking at the dealership and I get the keys to my wheels by early next week. Can't wait. And yes, after a long time, I feel like a kid again. Now I need to find my blackberry data cable to download the pics.
cheers, Sid
I did a spec & price comparo( US,UK,India and Japan). Turns out, we indeed are getting a great bargain. The Brits and the Japanese are shelling out more though.
UK base model non abs 3688 pounds> Rs 2,88,374
USA base model $3399> Rs 1,50,497
$4499> Rs 1,99,202
Japanese Yen base model 449400> Rs 2,39,637
C-ABS:499800>Rs 2,66,512
India( New Delhi)
ABS: Rs 1,84,062
STD: Rs 1,56,793
Have a look at the spec comparo. I guess we are getting 26bhp after all! Honda needs to edit that portion in the Indian website. Idiots really! Like the Japanese, they round up the figure to the nearest limit! They have mentioned 27bhp instead of 26.04 and 23nm of torque. That looks good on paper doesnt it?!

My bad. In my excitement, I forgot to mention that. Bikes are on display at Pragnya Honda, Okhla - II. Ask for Mr. Pradeep. One more thing, the saree guard is an eye sore. Don't think anyone even with lady as a pillion will like to keep it on. Kills the looks completely.Originally posted by myg124 View PostHey, will you tell us where in Delhi?

Actually, at the same link that Aargee posted, I found the following excerpt in the end:Originally posted by lijok View PostBut I think you can change the color as long as you get it updated in the RC. Isnt it?
IMO, it means alteration means the change in structure and changing Colour does not mean that the structure has been changed.Explanation.-For the purposes of this section, "alteration" means a change in the structure of a vehicle which results in a change in its basic feature.

Next lot. Enjoy.
One more thing, after seeing the bike in flesh and boold, I had no hesitation in issuing the cheque for the remaining amount. They said that since mine will be the first delivery from their dealership, Honda guys may be handing over the keys. All excited.
Cheers, Sid
