Well the DP is now 85K + Reg n Insurance right?
I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

Some interesting point I got from the uploader
        Q. How do you get to 100km/h in 6.5sec when the professional people can only do it in 8.5?? in the recent cycle world article.
        A. if the cbr 250 r (fi) need 8,5sec.to 100m/h,than i never buy this motorbike! the professional peaple do that in sitting position?
        what you think?

Sur le créneau des sportives de petites cylindrées, il faudra désormais compter sur une nouvelle Honda : la CBR 250 R. Elle ressemble à la nouvelle CBR 125 R...

That is an impressive video, that speed was achieved without crouching and he wasnt the whipping the throttle either, he was just gradually accelerating. Impressed, ok guys now I am ok with the down payment tooo .
PS:- The bike sounds beautiful man..

          • This equates to a cash down payment of Rs. 85,000/- to buy the CBR250R, which makes the bike out of the reach of many
But Rags, if people can purchase a P220 outright purchase, then why not C250R with a loan? How would that become out of reach? IMO, HMSI is making a strategic move to reduce the number of bookings to meet their present demand so as to bring down the high waiting period, atleast, initially.

Regarding the "Honda CBR 250 R(FI)2011"Aling" Testdrive 2", has anyone noticed that his revlimitter crosses the redline while Honda has places a revlimitter at 10500 RPM? Doesn't that sound like a remapped ECU? Anyone

I still believe a substantial portion of the bookings were made with say some where around 25% down payment in mind, heck I paid just 1.5 Lakhs downpayment for my 8.5 lakhs car, where as for this I am forced to shell out close to a lakh

Lol , but which one gives more fun?

Anyway, I think Honda is making a good move from this point as well; they're first trying to sell it people with deep pockets, so that they can manage the queue as well. Once the demand becomes less, they'll bring down the initial amount, which IMO, is a good move.

Remember 2 decade ago, there weren't much finance options to purchase a two wheeler & then the financing were limited to private agencies & then followed by bank & these days the ads say that, pay about 10% as downpayment. I'm sure those days will soon follow on these life styled motorcycles.

Right, but what's a CO2 box? Some links or article to read on it?

PS - Wondering what magic it would do on a N250R 200+ Kmph?

CO2 box on NSR I don't think NSR will need this local mod as Honda will do a better job themselves

Uploader says with the help of a CO2 box you can adjust the fuel and air mixture.

Some Q & A from the previous video

                      Q. is this the standard version dude?
have you done any modification for this beast to reach that 171kmh?
                      A. Hi,this is a standard version,whitout anything change's,only test whit CO2 Optimizer Box ,not a ECM Box !

                      Q. what do you mean by saying with FI box?or Injection Box?how come you can adjust fuel and air ratio in a Fuel Injection system?
                      A. Custom Tuning the CO value!

Q.So about a 4% increase in speed ..How much more do you think you will get with a different exhaust and spocket change
                      A. i think i will get,whit a different exhaust ,sprockets change and Injecion box ~180 km/h+, max .190 km/h,whitout remove limiter!

                      Q. what did you do with your cbr 250r? is it standard? it's hard to believe dude!
A.why you dont believe? this is standard, and the speedometer is not fake! i startet to test the standard CBR whit a Injection box, whit this you can adjust the fuel and air.

Ok, will search for this, but I haven't found anything fruitful till now!!!

I've seen all that, but nothing mentioned on CO2 as what brand or any details. Let me search for more.

All I was saying is, if a CO2 box can improve performance on Honda CBR 250 R, then, wouldn't plonking the same on Kawasaki Ninja 250R increase the performance on Kawasaki Ninja 250R too?

PS - Hope this time there would be no confusions on NSR
