Dude, why are you stressing on "if you can maintain it" point? What do you think could be a problem? Do we, prospective owners, have to take some extra precaution to maintain it?

Maintaining both the bikes (Ninja 250 and CBR 250) will be quite heavy on the pocket with the Ninja parts being costlier (as it is a CKD unit)

Btw, as I said, P180 needs to be sold before the new ZMA is bought. And yes I will have 2 bikes for atleast a year till the CBR becomes common

                    • Some news in this link, not sure how true, check out

We inquired with a few Honda dealers regarding the price of the 250cc Honda and were told Rs. 1.63 lakhs for the non-ABS variant and 1.92 lakhs for the ABS variant (all prices on-road, Mumbai). The dealer also informed us that the down payment for the CBR250R is 50% and a buyer has to cough up Rs. 75,000/- plus the registration and insurance charges. This equates to a cash down payment of Rs. 85,000/- to buy the CBR250R, which makes the bike out of the reach of many

                        • If the news in the link is true then Honda FTW!!!

But isnt it ironic ? All were saying the price will increase but rather it decreased to 1.63L from 1.8L for standard version?

Can anyone confirm the hot news?

Well! You can look at it from two sides, if you have the money u get the bike quickly as I am sure quite a few of these bookings are gonna get cancelled, the others wait, collect money and then go back to the dealer

I am still unable to decide which side of the coin I am in

Well what are you gonna do? We all dont have any official confirmation from our dealers.

Well in the other link its given 1.7L for Karnataka but for Mumbai its 1.63L

Why? I mean is it the taxes and all that?
Also it states that 15 bikes per dealer so will it be like All of Jhaveri Honda gets 15 bikes only? I mean like Jhaveri Honda has quite a few outlets in Mumbai isnt it? So if its given only 15 bikes damn it will take a lot of time to get that baby wont it?

I am loosing hope of getting my bike as per the timeslot specified to me i.e. June End!

@bprags: You booked it right then why are you stepping back?
