I personally would be more than happy to see DRL on the Indian CBR, except that it should not be Full DC then.

i am confused what you guys are discussing.
      few facts...

      1. drl has nothing to do with a single beam or dual headlight setup.there are many motorcycles in production with single headlamp(eg.harleys).
      2. dc/ac has nothing to do with drl.this bike is full dc and having a three phase charging system which is enough to charge the battery even at idling rpm with 55 watt heamp on,so running out of battery just because a drl is weired thoughts.in fact all dc bikes if we switch on the headlight all time it will not have any problem specially because there is enough buffer time stored in the battery.
      3. arai is known for its efficiency.but they also matured with time.i personally not comment till the first version hits india, see its having drl or not?
      4. on that video its a simple that the headlight is heardwired to the battery but it should be connected with via a relay switch which should switch on the headlight only when the engine starts.lets wait and watch.

      • Hello Folks...

But have been following this thread since its inception..!!

Me too have booked a Red CBR... on Jan 20th...!!
The time is movin so fast , coz of lotsa things, that we are already past the middle of march..!! M not feelin the pain of the long wait.! hehe..
Btw i bookd a Non-ABS Version because i din wanna cough up an extra 30k and i am not a speedster anymore..! (Ya i knw ABS is not just for speedsters.. Yest only i saw a guy crawling at around 5kph at a gravel parkin lot fall down coz he locked his front brakes.. and it wasnt even disc! Lol! Also i havent had any wheel lockups in all ma 9 yrs of biking, tho i ve had 1 minor accident... i knw that cant serve as an insurance anyway..!! Juz told, thats all )
But here, lot of ppl have booked the ABS Version i guess..!! Money is kinda tight, but still im a bit confused now whether to go for the ABS..

        • its all abt the preferences....some people claim the c-abs to be a life saving feature...which i dont agree to btw. . . If u have enough money to spare for it & if you want it, you could go the c-abs way. .
I have booked the one without the c-abs btw..

          • Is it possible that the cost of the bike might decrease in a year or two? I bought my first bike around 8 months ago and am planning to buy another in 2 years or so. I had my eyes fixed on this bike since the very beginning. I know many other 250cc bikes are going to be released in the coming years but Honda is Honda istn't it,
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

Easily possible if, the price of fuel, copper, iron, gold, plastic, rubber, vegetables, edible oils & all the more INFLATION decreases

I started biking when i was 14.. And was into Racing, stunt biking and all...
Now i'm 22... But looking back, i thank god for the fact that i was never hurt or injured doin all those stuff..!! No matter how good u are, anythin can go wrong.. And i dont agree with this thought of many ppl that Speedy bikes are for young blood with real adrenaline rush..!! Now Me too consider bike the way u do... Its all about appeal..!!
But its all down to personal choice... Those hu wanna do stunts n racing can carry on with that if thats wat they love... but gotta respect other's choices too..!! :-)

BTW, i loved the back seat cover among the CBR Japan Accessory list..!! ITs lookin feckin cool..!! B-)

Life is short and if your attitude is rigid then you cant stand to live happily for a day so I prefer adapting rather than rebelling

Yes people were pulling my leg over the ABS a few pages ago just coz I am a "kid"

I loved all the accessories especially the GPS
Considering general public (specially youngsters like us), if they hear bike then the images like speed, racing, stunting come in their mind and its totally wrong. Professionals do it since they are trained and have a good backup incase of any complications but do we have such backups?

I dont see the reason why people like to kill their bike as soon as the signal turns green, I see idiots just unleash their throttle as if they are running for their lives.

Nevertheless fools will be fools and we have to understand that there are many kind of people on this world.

                      Sorry for going OT :P

I dont mean to hurt any1s sentiments but isnt it wrong? I mean ur confident about your riding and your bike but what happens if someone comes in between?

While driving I see innumerable fools crossing the roads blindly or waiting in the middle of the road. You press the horn and they stare as if you are doing a crime or a sin!

                          Sorry for OT again :P

So did anyone get any official info from their dealers????
