Why don't you visit www.honda2wheelersindia.com website & find the closest dealer since you haven't updated your location nor posted an intro about yourself? It would be nice to know about you & your rides

Oh thanks for the link.. Am from chennai too but working in bangalore and live in BTM 2nd Stage.. My Ride used to be a Pulsar 150(the 1st one with DTSi and alloy wheels) until it got stolen in chennai... Nowadayz i use a friend's TVS Apache which he has no need of. I decided to get a new bike since the news about the revamped R15 began floating. Then my attention diverted to Ninja 250r, when i realised the R15 is not gonna be launched any time soon, but decided its too costly and i just hated the dash board(reminds me of a BMTC bus dash board .. not the volvo one too :P).. and finally i fell in love with the black CBR 250 r which am gonna book tommorow .. just need to find a good dealer since the sapphire honda has many complaints against it in indian consumer complaints forum..

I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

            • Since C250R is also an international model sport bike that is also bound to sell in EU, how do they manage DRL feature that is mandatory in the west? What I see is they only have a single headlamp.

PS - Pls don't ask me from where I get these kind of weird thoughts

              • ^Not a weird thought, infact, ppl first speculated that the bike didn't have a headlamp switch, just a toggle between high and low beam, in which case the pilot lamps would stay on always
But I guess that has been changed

                  • ^^^ Haha!!! Rags, but the point is that, how do you know its a DRL? The guy could've simply switched ON the headlights & keep it running like our regular motorcycle isn't it? The point is that, being 250cc segment & available as world wide same model, per the EU laws, shouldn't the motorcycle have a DRL?

@hifi - Sry, I couldn't get your point. Pls elaborate.

Almost all of the bikes with DRL (Daytime Running Lights) do not have a headlight on/off switch. They only have a high/ low switch...

hifi wants to say that maybe this CBR will have a headlight switch, contrary to what we expected, hence no DRL.

I personally would be more than happy to see DRL on the Indian CBR, except that it should not be Full DC then.

By the way, the Thai cbr comes with DRL I thought u knew it.

You mean, the low beam keeps glowing all the time & is full DC circuit? And just to clarify, it should be 60/55 right?

Yep! Full DC, the headlight runs on 55/60 bulb. Check this video, as soon as he switches on the ignition the head light is on
