Those are after-market mods i guess... i really don't know..what exactly it is. can some one explain??..

I really liked the silver metalic colour on this bike.... The red is traditional Honda but silver would look good too.

Red is typical Honda but Silver looks great too. Hope Honda retain the bike as it is shown here, when it debuts here.

Where did the news about the 1.8 ex showroom price tag come from? Coz in the Dec 2010 edtion of BikeIndia magazine, the price quoted by Mr. Honda CEO is 1.5 ex-showroom. Or is that some real old news that BI is peddling?

as far as i know, its only speculation & in sincerely hope 1.5ex comes true(or lower).

^^^^^ yes, i think no one want to buy a bike in the range of 1.5 + lakh, that too a bike similar to karizma zmr with just Honda badge on it

I remember seeing an interview with a honda official on times drive show. In which he quoted price will be 'far' less than 1.5. That was really exiting and i almost decided to sell my 1yr old 220 for it. But 1.8 lac is still out of my reach, but hey what does cbr 250 have which r15 doesnt have?(abs i dont want)A slightly bigger engine? I dont think 80000 extra is worth it. Also unlike the r15 cbr looks a bit soft.

Agreed. If more than 1.5, I think it'll seriously hurt its sale. Still I got the latest issue of Bike India and its still quoted the 1.5 or less for non ABS. So there is yet hope.
Whatever the price may be, Equating CBR 250 to ZMR is stretching it. Yes, Zma and ZMR which basically is based on the same bike. But CBR 250 & ZMR?. To start with, the frame and suspension system, the main construction of the bike are as different as can be. Next comes the body panels, fuel tanks, lights, mirrors, dash etc. Not a single shared component. The tyres, brakes are different, Then come the heart of the bike, the 'liquid cooled' engine that is different from ZMR/ZMA. I wonder where you saw the similarity. Would be interesting to see you list them.
