    YouTube - Autocar Show Honda CBR250R

    If you hear it right from Auto Car Rep (Kartikeya Singhee) go to (5:53) of the video; where he say that "90% of the parts are to be sourced locally (India) Pricing is going to be so attractive; how attractive let's here it from the Boss (President & CEO of HMSI")

    Shinji Aoyama :

    i would like to introduce this aaaaa.... you know..aaaa price ...aaaaaa far less than ....aaaa 1.5 Rupees...aaaa 1.5 Lac Rupees...

    Also hear it from Overdrive Magazine Rep Shumi : go to (0:45) of the Video;
    Bike to be launched hopefully by Feb 2011" ; when this come out between Feb-April next year the price to be less; as low as 1.3 Lac Rupees.

    YouTube - Honda CBR250R Walkaround on OVERDRIVE

    Which means that honda is working to get the cost down; when it is launched here in India in Feb - April 2011...

    As per the "Specu" if it is 1,50,000 Thai bhai instead of 1.5 lac Rupees;

    (1 Thai Bhat = 1.51703 Indian Rupees...)

    Then 1,50,000 Thai Bhat = 2,27,554 Indian Rupees...

    Still there will be people willing to buy the CBR250R @ 2.3 Lac

    If CBR250R is going to come costly; lets hope HSMI launch the CBR150R @1,15 Lac

    (2011 " CBR150R in Thailand Retails for 75,900 Thai Bhat's which is approximately 1,15,142 Indian Rupees...)

    Source: CBR150R Thailand = 75,900

    The CBR150R & CBR125R has no visual difference; CBR150R is otherwise mechanically identical to the CBR125R.

    • cheaper than the Ninja and I'm sold!
      although the decision would be left to a final ride between the Ninja and the CBR.
      However, if money comes in, will go ahead and put it on the GT650

      • guys, it's finally 1.8 lacs. Seems the Honda official was not sure about the pricing or I dunno what has gone wrong. but even BS motoring website says this:
        Honda to price its new CBR250R at Rs 1.5 lakh!

        • Anything under 2 L and I'm going for it. I need a tourer and CBR250R specifications look too mouth watery (if the same thing lands in India) for that price. I'm already in love with this bike .

            • And remember we're still speculating about ex-showroom price. OTR is a different story altogether... well, atleast in Bangalore
