Now since the ex show room price is 1.51 lakhs, the on road price will be somewhere around 1.75 Lakhs.

Thumbs down to the Honda official who said the ex showroom price will be far below 1.5 Lakhs.
The 1.51L price tag is forMumbai.. For Bangalore it should be somewhere around 1.45L..

              • Is this news reliable?
Honda today unveiled the CBR250R in Mumbai where it also announced the official pricing of the motorcycle. The non-ABS version of the CBR250R is priced at Rs. 1.51 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and Rs. 1.77 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the fully loaded ABS version

                and

Although bookings have already begun for the CBR250R, deliveries will be in full swing by the 31st of May

                This also raises another question...
We have ridden the motorcycle in Thailand for the world launch and at that time, the CBR 250R was shod with IRC tyres. However, the CBR250R which will be sold in India will roll on Continental tyres which will be identical in performance and specifications to the ones sold in Thailand. Another addition noticeable were the brackets that will hold the saree-guard on the left rear flank of the motorcycle.
This also raises a question if HMSI will have 2 product lines to manufacture C250R? One for international market & another one for India?

                    • 31st May?

Oh man I will have to wait even more!

I hope the price (ex-showroom) is same thruout India coz some say its for Delhi n some say its for Mumbai.

Anymore Updates, like the date when the bike will be up for display?

Edit: I guess the bike will cost around 1.75L for STD in Mumbai!

Ha ha, you were the first one to come to my mind when I used the word "bloggers", hence I added the extra comment "who quoted the wrong price"

                        • I called up a couple of showrooms in Bangalore (Saphire Honda and Haiku Honda). All they know is the good old price tags of 1.5l and 1.75l ex-showroom. Nothing more. Its clear HMSI hasn't informed the dealers so far of the prices.

                          • I am quite sure that people will be surprised by the size of the bike when they see it in real. Because it is quite small than it looks in the pictures. They show it with small people.

Going by the facebook pics, the bike should not be big and imposing as a litre superbike.

Looks can be deceptive my friend

Who cares if its big or small? Yes if you want it to show-off and all that stuff then yes I agree its small but for us who have a passion, its great to own a 250R at the age of 20

What do you think of Ninja 250R in terms of size?
I've heard people saying that Ninja is big. And if you see the pics in the link below, both are almost of the same size.
