Booked the Red C-ABS variant today. Waited too long for this one. For 5 years I have saved bits from my school and college allowances. I guess she is worth it all. <3

This reminds me so much of the old P220FI launch! So many bookings in bangalore, but we all know what happened there!
Blore folks have you got any confirmation on the OTR price for you all?

How I encountered the CBR:
Well i was sitting in my room when my elder brother called up and said he spotted a CBR 250 in our society, so i quickly rushed to my parking lot and took out the Ninja (Had to go on the Ninja or else he wouldnt have given me equal amount of respect or attention) to go and search for the Guy with the CBR.

The guy in question was the Owner of the showroom where I had booked my CBR ( Vihaan Honda), upon inquiring about how he got the bike he told me it was the first test bike in Mumbai that had been given to them.
He offered me to exchange the bikes (see Ninja works ) and follow him to the showroom to have a further talk with him. And ofcourse i agreed.

I got on the CBR with butterflies in my stomach full of excitement and enthusiasm rode it for a few hundred yards and Crashed on the first curb (Hey it wasnt my fault, there was oil spill on brick road).
Yes I had crashed Mumbai's first ever CBR 250.


Now mentioning some key things i was able to notice in my short test ride of the CBR 250.

Clutch: The clutch as mentioned in many reviews of the bike is exceptionally light. Mind you it is not a bad thing but rather feels good.

Engine: The engine is remarkably smooth and free revving. Compared to my Ninja 250 it is smoother but not as quick revving. The acceleration is decent but cant comment on that as i only revved it upto 4-5k RPM.

Switches: Remarkably they have provided headlight switch and that too with three option like that of an R15 (off, parking lights, On) and they have even provided passing light switch.

Brakes: The bike I rode was equipped with C-ABS but could not really test those but all i can say is that they are good and there aren't any pulsations as was expecting i.e. it is not at all intrusive.

Size: The bike feels big from the outside it has got huge rear tyres but once you climb on the saddle it feel rather small, much smaller than the Ninja as the fairing on the CBR are broader in the center and taper at the front. The digital console didnt quite please me, it just looked a bit CHEAP.

So this was my ride report of the CBR.
Feels kinda wierd :first guy ever in India to crash a CBR 250...
