I am actually buying the CBR250R. Doesn't mean that suddenly my bike becomes the best thing on earth. For me, ninja is not very VFM even though i believe that its the closest thing to Megan Fox on the poorer side of 600 cc. Hence, i am not going for it. As a package, 250R ticks all the right boxes

Anyway, lets not get into the ninja vs CBR mode.

I love Honda for launching it at 1.43. Saves a couple of thousand, enough to watch Megan Fox movies many times over :-P
Especially loved the last part.. .. And good to know you are also buying it!!

    @pushkarb -- Enne Raskale! :P

Btw i so wanted the full black one.. when i went to the showroom the brochure they had was pathetic.. and no full black model.. But went ahead and booked it anyway... Was planning to do the mugen mod colours and stickering once i got the full black one.. :S

    • For better or for worse, I am booking it. Dont care what people think of it's looks. To me it looks beautiful. That's what counts. And this is the closest I can be to owning my dream superbike (Fireblade),as of now.

        • Below are the links to 2 sites which are trustworthy (according to me).

          BSMotoring
          Zigwheels

Now I am planning to book the Non-ABS one ASAP.

xBhpians from Bangalore, please suggest me a good dealer around J.P Nagar.

          Thanks in advance.

              • So, thats 8-9k more than what was being discussed a while back (motorbeam, dws). BSM is stating deliveries to begin inly in May. i heard, that it would start by April mid

what about B'lore ex-showroom prices? guess, they would be same as Mumbai only.

Black seems to understate the muscles of the bike hence I have decided on the Red/Silver.

The only one I know around that area is Saphire Honda. I had booked from the same showroom.

                        • To hell with all the bloggers who quoted the wrong price. So the BLR price for the Non-ABS one is around 1.75 to 1.8 Lakhs on road.

If the ex showroom price was 1.43 lakhs as mentioned by the bloggers, the on road price would have been 1.65 lakhs on road, assuming 15% of the vehicle cost (including RTO, insurance etc).

Now since the ex show room price is 1.51 lakhs, the on road price will be somewhere around 1.75 Lakhs.

Thumbs down to the Honda official who said the ex showroom price will be far below 1.5 Lakhs.
