  • Regarding the down payment I was quoted the same at Chennai, Interest around 9% for 2 years.

Now that gives a little satisfactory confirmation over the finance options To be frank I never loved the exhaust too, CBR150R had a better one! Maybe I will get a new one after my bike gets delivered

Well i am not a plastic engg to comment on quality and stuff.. But i feel it was on par.. Better then on indian bikes before. And come on.. We should expect only what we are paying for.. Its a 1.5l bike and not >5l.. Whatever it is.. I am happy.. Stunning presense!! Two things i dint like are..1. The colour seemed different.. I mean it dint look the usual honda red.. It was bit dark.. 2. I felt the exhaust a bit too big plus it was looking different from the bike.. I think it shall cause a problem in cornering and in traffic.. The mirrors didnt seem too bad.. The rod was long but was ok and didnt look odd. And i think the number plate could be altered a bit to fit more closer and then wont be a problem.. And yes.. I felt the quality of the seat fabric could be better.. But not a big issue.. I loved it overall.. And a kind of good news.. The downpayment he quoted me is 53k.. Which is awesome! And the guy who gave me the info looked quiet confident on the finance scheme he said.. Finance would be hdfc.. Its 12% interest for other bikes but would be 10% for the cbr..

And also.. I loved the headlamp and the speedo..

Sorry HH hunk.. I couldnt inform you..and visited alone..

I mean you said its a bit DARK and not the same as shown in the brochure and videos

But I wanted to go and my parents wont let me go alone
(Dont tease for for this, my parents are quite strict)

Metal Maniac thanks for the review, any details about the test ride?

Hmm...sounds good. But still, the person who're handling shouldn't be hyper excited & the ppl at ASC should also take care not to give test rides to their own boys

Well the majority of cost cutting is done in the form of taxes when compared to other 250cc segments present in this country. Otherwise the price difference would be only a mere of 20-30K lesser, if the import taxes weren't playing.

Welcome! Maybe the colour appeared dark as it was in the showroom and the light wasnt really enough.. the actual colour can be better judged in sunlight.. will upload pics in some time.. but i am sure the red will look better than black(IMO).. Test ride to start after 15th or so..

P.S:Am 24 and my parents strict too.. but had two big reasons..the chris pfeiffer show and the CBR..

Here are the pics i clicked.. not much different than any thing before but just a input from my side..

The colour of the bike looked same as in the pics.. so i felt its dark.. but not a concrete comment until seen in bright light.. The bike looked exactly the same as in thailand (have been downloading & looking tons of images since October) and the only differences i found were.. tires, the light switch and the two bolts near the left rear footrest (i guess for the Saree guard)..

And i dont think people would be so possessive about others handling the bike after it becomes common(after few months)..

What i look this bike for is the smooth 250cc liquid cooled motor, good handling as on Unicorn and an upright and comfortable riding position.. which seems to be positive..

Good one, but there're 3 things...
                    1. This video has been posted several pages back & has been discussed several times
                    2. How's this guy able to cross red line when the rev limiter is put on 10500
                    3. What is CO box?

If you can get the answers from Aling, there's nothing like it

Strange didnt you notice the cheap plastics??

Mods: Lots of newbies pouring in here. Well, I do understand the forum rules, but they dont. I guess you guys just need numbers rather than quality talks. Do something before other seniors start bailing( should I be telling you this all the while??)

                          • cheap plastic helps reduce price and weight.. half the price of ninja and 7kg lesser.. so its good right

IMO, its quiet good considering the price.. And also a better can be expected in the final product.. so i prefer not to crib on that as of now. The bike impressed me and so i shared it.

P.S: i find it difficult to judge the quality of plastic until i break it..

(No offense again)I think seniors should stick to their expert veiws and comments. And let MODS take care of thread discipline.. Though incase of educating a newbie, PM can be used(It kind of pinches in public).. All again, IMO
