    Aargee: saikamal is not asking to go against the companies instructions but he means to get the oil change verified.. As i understand because i feel so.. The point we want to make here is the ASC not doing their job well and using low quality oil in oil changes screws the engine.. My experience on two ASC serviced bikes.. So our point is just to verify the servicing done appropriately urself or from trusted mech and use good oil..

    Again.. I am not asking people to void their bikes warranty but dont blindly rely on ASC and get evry job verified..

      Rahul: my friend, newbies have every right to post every word of whatever thought comes in their mind, I dont object to it, its just that it cuts the discipline we have maintained in the forum over the years. I think its pointless now with so many joining in. Cant keep a tap on it.

      With regards to the quality of plastic, it indeed is cheap, and everyone should rightfully expect a much better quality final product. If its impressed you, so be it yaar! Great that you wont break it, anyways spares are going to be a bomb and scarce. Go for it

        Good that u now know what tappet is

        but in CBR the gap is provided by using a shim like in new cars... eg:Toyota corolla

        End result is u don't have to worry about tappet sound. normally u will notice this sound if you push your bike a lot. (hope this is helpful)

        and it is using V type chain for timing chain and u will not have the problem of loud chain noise and vibration like in our current Indian bikes. CBR is all about technology... even a 3Lac Rs ninja uses all old technology for that matter.

        I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

          @myg: thanks for the explanation brother.. But my comment was for all seniors who point out a newbie's mistake in the thread and then 3-4 posts go for clarifying it. Instead if i find a person not following something.. I just PM him with sweet words and he too feels good rather than feeling offended.. And mods can always delete unrequired posts..

          And i dint want to make a negative image of the bike we all are so eagerly waiting for..before we see the actual product..

            Its pointed out in the thread, to make everyone aware of whats going on transparently. I would have have pm'ed you right away but chose the other way. It helps us make other newbies realise the situation mate Talk your heart out, discuss whatever comes in your mind, no boundaries, but yes maintain the flow and little bit of discipline. Whos asking for more?!

            regd the bike..psst, do you need a hammer to check the plastics quality?? I can lend you one ( kidding!)

                      haha! jokes apart, well, none of the showrooms down western side are confirming or ready to divulge any delivery date or test ride date. Its a point blank no idea, no clue, no information, no whatever, as the sales people have been taught to hard wire it in their brains.

                          How many kilometers must this CBR 250R run before being pushed to its limits? I guess its 500-700 kms, Can any one please confirm?
