End of the day, be it C250R or N250R, all of us are friends & we'll all ride together & lets think beyond such type of comparisons & enjoy riding. Can we pls ?
    Agreed. +1 to that..

Then he had no information regarding the number of bikes coming per lot and its frequency, and repeated the same old single liner "We will call you once the bike come". Hope it comes a bit early though, zapping through this thread makes use Bangaloreans feels soo isolated.. everying is getting a look at this bike except us..
I feel the way they say the same lines "We will call you once the bike come" as if it is an auto reply.

I was expecting them to come around 20th but now it seems there is further more delay.

As the saying goes out..The wait continues....

Exactly, just called Sapphire Honda and heard the same thing.
Now they're saying that the first lot was dispatched on 15th only (first they said it was dispatched on 6th, then on 10th, and now 15th). And deliveries would start after 25th. Also, only 5 bikes in the first lot.
Second lot to be dispatched on 20th of this month. They said I'll get mine in the 2nd lot only. Mine is the 13th booking in that showroom. So I doubt whether I'll get in the 2nd also.
I don't mind waiting. But please don't give us false hopes and keep us in darkness. Please give us a properly reply or date regarding deliveries.

Some were mocking us by telling that we(CEEBEER) people are thinking of aftermarket exhausts even when we dont have the bike. I got into thinking mode. Is it just us, or were'nt the Ninja people also equally excited when Ninja's were about to be launched?
And guess what, I found these. They have also been as excited as we are. [Remember, I am not comparing the bikes, I am justifying this thread. So much is being spoken against this thread offline, I am giving reasons for such a thread's proper existence.]
And now whats even more good for us, is that while CEEBEER price will not increase over the time(neglecting the marginal price increase that every company does), the prices of Harley will remain the same till this calendar year. So most probably the price of Harleys will increase from next year[SPECULATION].
              Source : Business-Standard.
So I dont know how far this will affect Ninjas too, as they are also assembled in India, not made in India unlike CEEBEER.
SO why did I raise these points in a CBR thread? Just to make you people all the more proud of CBR's.
You are right, everyone is having the right to think about their bikes and post the questions/suggestions, before buying or planning to buy. Even Ninja owners used to do the same; buying the accessories before getting/releasing the bike. IMO, CBR 250 is a new bike (worldwide) and even though aftermarket parts are available already, more better products from better brands will come in future.

The quality of human being is to forgive, which makes him different from any other species. Forgive the other person in the Ninja thread

Suggestion : Post your comments above in Ninja thread!! he he just kidding...

Why don't we discuss about frame sliders and other necessary accessories; have any one checked whether its possible in the bike.

I loved to see such a bike in India and at the end Honda did it. I expect more capacity bikes made in India from Honda in future. IMO there will be no other 250 CC single cylinder bike (until now) available to beat the CBR. No comparison. It is in its own class. I suggest not to compare with Ninja 250 which is 7+ bhp than CBR or with other Indian which less bhp than CBR.

Even when NINJA was going to be launched people were thinking about the after market things which they could get for the bike (I followed the thread relegiously) so there is nothing wrong if they guys who booked the CBR are doing the same. And I frimly believe that if we are going off track then there are MODS to bring us back so no one else should be worried about it.

The NINJA owners are a bit PIS**D off because everybody is comparing the CBR with the NINJA which is totaly unfare, even the US reviews are based on CBR and carbed version of NINJA whereas in India we a get a FI version which is better, so there is nothing wrong if they feel this way, but all the guys who have booked the CBR should not loose there cool and enjoy the fact they are getting a worldclass product (hopefully ) at a decent price.

OT: It is not necessarry that the HD prices will increase as they are planning to set up a mother plant in India to reduce the price and this will be only the second mother plant to be setup outside US after Brazil so the prices might decrease.

Gonna be CBR owners are in fact lucky; just waited few months after hearing the news about the CBR 250 worldwide release. I waited almost 3 years, after hearing the news about Ninja 250 coming in India.

Sad news. Spoke to my dealer 2 mins ago. He says that the deliveries will start by the end of this week or latest by early next week. Looks like there is a delay at Honda's end in dispatching the 'delivery bikes'.

I was hoping that I will be the first at xBhp to 'own' one (now that the crown for first one to ride in xBhp has gone to Arjun ...so wish I had a sibling who owned a Honda dealership) but looks like I will lose out on this one too.

So fingers crossed and waiting for the coveted phone call (sir, your bike's here, please come and do the PDI....) as promised by the dealer.

              Cheers,

Patience is the mantra!!! We waited all these months for the bike, why not few more days??? Its worth waiting for this bike. Do you really/badly need the crown???!!!

I somehow believe that Delhi will get the first bike. I used to see that most of the new bikes come out in Delhi first and with a killer tax amount. Bangalorians are tested always, as they have to wait more and that too by paying the highest tax.

@ All. How many booked red clour??? I think red will be a common colour for the CBR. The Red/Blue/While combination colour is a stunner. Any booked the colour??
I am waiting for the bike to see in flesh and to do a test ride, before booking for my cousin brother.
