just called my dealer in delhi,only 4-5 bikes per lot(mine is 1 booking).bikes should have came on 15 april but got delayed due to some reason.maybe in a week time bike would be here....

does 140/70 or 140/50 make much of a difference???

Had called up Silicon Honda, BSK III stage, spoke with the manager, he said the display bike will be in Bangalore by month end (by 28th). Then he had no information regarding the number of bikes coming per lot and its frequency, and repeated the same old single liner "We will call you once the bike come". Hope it comes a bit early though, zapping through this thread makes use Bangaloreans feels soo isolated.. everying is getting a look at this bike except us..

Here are some tyre choices which fellow riders would want to upgrade to in the near future. These tyres can be made available at your local known tire shop. I got a few Michelins here, the only problem being, the rear size available starts from 150/50-17, not 140/50 which is the stock. Not bad for having good rubber under you ha! The front matches up though. Same problem with Pirelli & Bridgestone, front ones are available but rear's not.

The CBR tyre size is 110/70-17 M/CxMT 2.75 for front and 140/50-17 M/CxMT4 for the rear.

I was planning to go have a look at the CBR today. I believe in Mumbai, the display bikes are at malad, kandivali and thane.

Can anyone please confirm if this would be correct, and also if the showrooms would be open today (Sunday). I am calling them up and no one seems to be picking the phone!

Malad one should be open till 7 today. Best to go tomorrow. They have it on display and you can sit on it and check it out

Hey guys i have some news for delhi guys waiting for their cbr. I went showroom on thursday and saw all three colors. They have 1 red ABS, 1 red STD, 1 black STD and 1 grey STD. They have kept the red ABS one in display.

I got a call from dealer today and he said that honda has asked them to collect payments from the customers. I went there and paid half the money today. Rest ill pay tomorrow.
The dealer told me that we are collecting money from just 4 customers whose bikes are there with the showroom.

My booking is 2nd and is red STD and the guy with booking no. 1 has booked Red ABS. The best part is that they have this ABS bike for display and mine is there in the store room still under packing sheets. And everyone is touching the other ABS one on display. So i am a lucky person

Regarding delivery he told me that we will get the deliveries from the showroom itself but may be after a small function some where in delhi and this will happen this week.

Regarding the quality and everything else i would say just 1 thing- the bike is for just 1.57 lac and for that price the bike is awesome. The nearest competitor is ninja 250 and that is twice the price. According to me ZMR, P220 or R15 are great bikes but they stand no chance against cbr250r. Atleast be greatfull to honda for manufacturing and selling an international bike here in india at this price.
