And see the main thing is just the extra cylinder with 33bhp and yeah the idiotically high price with so called EXCLUSIVITY :P

Sorry for goin OT & Comparing.
    I sincerely apologize
But I couldnt stop laughing either.
I am not comparing here, but then I am gonna be silent now, Lets the CEEBER hit the streets first...

As I have not mentioned here when today I had the bike for half an hour one thing which I came across was that when the bike has crossed 90+ and 100 when hitting both the brakes it was taking time to stop. Plus to be honest I got scared. So have decided to go in for the ABS version. More over I want to see the performance of the bike for know.
So I am going to sit back and watch the show I have asked Bhaia i.e. the dealer of the Honda to give it to the other person the red std one. So sorry brother cant get that snap next to R15, pulsar 220.
Hi all, this is my 1st post in xbhp!
You are luck to lay hands on all our dream arjun. Congrats on your new booking. The brakes should not be a problem, the bike you tested might be a virgin one, new brake pads needs some bites before working to its fullest. I had booked mine in jan still no calls from my dealer yet . My boy will be black without CBS, I don want to miss any fun including from brakes

Here is a pic CBR parked along with Karizma found some where in net, the boy looks bigger and lot better than karizma.

I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

no dude.. Its the otherway round.. I mean.. The indian ninja is FI and makes 33bhp and the ones in U.S are carbed with lesser power.

One thing i am eager to know about the cbr is the seat height.. I know that statistically its some 790mm approx.. But how much is it actually compared to our pulsars?? Maybe arjun can answer this coz he rides a pulsar and rode the cbr for much time now.. Arjun?
My concern is because my hieght is 5'6 and i feel it quite difficult to take the pulsar in market place or a crowded parking.. And feels heavy as my legs dont comfortably reach the ground. But thats not the case on the r15.. Though lighter.. The seat is low too.. So whats the case with cbr??
You gotta risk it.. to get da biscuit !!!

hi buddy u have to hear her scream awesome sound no grudges and for the sitting of the bike u accentually have feeling of a super-bike much better than ninja. CBR is light and weight.

When I went today again for the ride on her i was given the keys in my hand with some doe to get the tank filled up with a 1 ltr. in it. Went there like we take out the unicorn cap of the tank to fill it comes out in your hand same way in cbr typically like Honda stuff. At least they could have given like our very own Pulsar touch in it.

                  • @arjun - How did the tyres perform on the roads? Was the grip good? Did it skid?

How was the handling at 90-100? Felt solid or did it scare you (like pulsars do - atleast mine does!)

                    • Well the tyres were good I never felt scare on this or on my Pulsar nop they both have good grips...

I am fed up of going behind them. Decided to move on with life and ignore everything related to CBR till they call me to tell me that the bike has reached. I quit, I quit the excitement, but never the bike! Till Bruna comes along, I am not hoping for anything at all, even by miracle someone says, "Bike in Bangalore", I will not jump with excitement, till I see it in flesh.
they have told the same at coimbatore too!!

does 140/70 or 140/50 make much of a difference???

@arjun: Congrats Mate.. You are a Lucky Man! Half and hour with CBR.. Love to listen more.. or even a video review or introduction of the bike!! And the sound..

My bad! its 140/70. Ofcourse upgrading to 150 is marginal and wont have adverse effects on the mileage or pickup. Although I would prefer a 140 section. I posted the michelins as I loved the tread patterns more than the bridgestone and pirelli. But need to see what hits our shops. A 150 at the rear will look meaty and simply gorgeous

Arjun: Lucky guy! hows the bikes pick up and all?? how did you find the acceleration and handling?? And more importantly how good are the vibrations.
