As I have not mentioned here when today I had the bike for half an hour one thing which I came across was that when the bike has crossed 90+ and 100 when hitting both the brakes it was taking time to stop. Plus to be honest I got scared. So have decided to go in for the ABS version. More over I want to see the performance of the bike for know.
So I am going to sit back and watch the show I have asked Bhaia i.e. the dealer of the Honda to give it to the other person the red std one. So sorry brother cant get that snap next to R15, pulsar 220.
Arjun , Honest reply,
No Probs, and thanks for the Previous pics
youre lucky to have ridden the bike.
I booked an ABS version RED Silver, and my booking is 01 from Haiku Honda BangaloreRiding is not about "How fast you can go",
it is all about "How you can go fast"

Its for safety reasons and its hard to make a disk break work soft man.. u made it look like crap in a sec lolOriginally posted by arjunb25 View PostDude sorry to add here brother after I was over with my ride when I drove my bike man the front brakes were a class i just love Pulsars Front Brakes.
Honda ones they take time to stop immediately
eg:say if you have sandy surface.. can u do sudden breaking on sharp brakes ?? that's y u see most of the pulsar accidents happen in rain and sandy surface when they apply sudden brakes.
Actually thats CRAP they are ninja owners but they dont know their horses. the Indian Ninja is a FI making only 24.9BHP on the rear wheel. since its a twin and technology is old. there is lot of friction and Ninjas power Drops from 33 on Crank to 24.9 on rear wheel. but on the other hand.. CBR Engines new technology reduces the Friction and allows it to put out 22.4 to 22.9BHP on the rear wheels at 8.5 to 8.6k RPM on the DinoOriginally posted by HH_HUNK View PostROFL Dude, Nice one
When they said bad about CBR we got angry, now they are jealous as we get a 250CC for almost half the price they paid
And see the main thing is just the extra cylinder with 33bhp and yeah the idiotically high price with so called EXCLUSIVITY :P
Sorry for goin OT & Comparing.
I sincerely apologize
But I couldnt stop laughing either.
Stock Ninja

with a little Help CBR250R Makes 24.5BHP

So please don't underestimate our baby guys
this is not a comparison or anything.. just to make CBR guys happy
if this is too technical... please let me know.. i will remove the post. thanksLast edited by saikamaldoss; 04-18-2011, 04:09 AM.

Good news for Pune....
I called 4 showrooms today i.e.- Pashankar Auto, Sterling Honda, Kothari n Rohan Honda. Now the good news is, for the first time, all of them said that the 25th of April is the day for the display bike arriving at the shorooms and the big day is on the 27th........
But Sterling honda guys also mentioned- Zaban de rahe hain sir, kya chahiye aur, isse badi guarantee koi nahi....... Zaban dii hai showroom walon ne
.
Biking knows no language, but passion.....

.. It is a Display/Demo Bike not the final product so please don't judge Honda by this bike. Here is a image which was recently shared by a Delhi Xbhpian and all seems fine to me.
PS. The bolt you have pointed out has got nothing to do with the Clip-Ons.
You are right and that is just a plastic cap/cover. We don't have to consider that small factor, as it will not have any impact on the bike..

There I was justifying my buying of CBR over a Ninja to a few Ninja owners. And they were telling me about the hype and all that stuff that we are posting in this thread even before the bike is launched.
Some were mocking us by telling that we(CEEBEER) people are thinking of aftermarket exhausts even when we dont have the bike. I got into thinking mode. Is it just us, or were'nt the Ninja people also equally excited when Ninja's were about to be launched?
And guess what, I found these. They have also been as excited as we are. [Remember, I am not comparing the bikes, I am justifying this thread. So much is being spoken against this thread offline, I am giving reasons for such a thread's proper existence.]
And now whats even more good for us, is that while CEEBEER price will not increase over the time(neglecting the marginal price increase that every company does), the prices of Harley will remain the same till this calendar year. So most probably the price of Harleys will increase from next year[SPECULATION].
Source : Business-Standard.
So I dont know how far this will affect Ninjas too, as they are also assembled in India, not made in India unlike CEEBEER.
SO why did I raise these points in a CBR thread? Just to make you people all the more proud of CBR's.

These things are bound to happen whenever there is a new bike launch, and whether anyone likes it or not the fact will remain that the CBR is a great bike at a very great price. Even when NINJA was going to be launched people were thinking about the after market things which they could get for the bike (I followed the thread relegiously
) so there is nothing wrong if they guys who booked the CBR are doing the same. And I frimly believe that if we are going off track then there are MODS to bring us back so no one else should be worried about it.
The NINJA owners are a bit PIS**D off because everybody is comparing the CBR with the NINJA which is totaly unfare, even the US reviews are based on CBR and carbed version of NINJA whereas in India we a get a FI version which is better, so there is nothing wrong if they feel this way, but all the guys who have booked the CBR should not loose there cool and enjoy the fact they are getting a worldclass product (hopefully
) at a decent price.
OT: It is not necessarry that the HD prices will increase as they are planning to set up a mother plant in India to reduce the price and this will be only the second mother plant to be setup outside US after Brazil so the prices might decrease.

Hi all,
Sad news. Spoke to my dealer 2 mins ago. He says that the deliveries will start by the end of this week or latest by early next week. Looks like there is a delay at Honda's end in dispatching the 'delivery bikes'.
I was hoping that I will be the first at xBhp to 'own' one (now that the crown for first one to ride in xBhp has gone to Arjun
...so wish I had a sibling who owned a Honda dealership) but looks like I will lose out on this one too.
So fingers crossed and waiting for the coveted phone call (sir, your bike's here, please come and do the PDI....
) as promised by the dealer.
Cheers,
Sid

I've a request for all - Pls help keep this thread discussion with C250R? All of us know that N250R owners do not like a competition for half the price they paid & all C250R owners like to buy something that is almost equivalent to N250R but half the price. End of the day, be it C250R or N250R, all of us are friends & we'll all ride together & lets think beyond such type of comparisons & enjoy riding. Can we pls
?
