Called up Om Sai Honda Mahim. They said, I will get a call around 10th April from them telling me about the delivery dates!

as far as finance options are concerned, I was told 40-50% but 'we have not yet received confirmation on the same' is what I was told. So lets see.

10th April is the date marked

Also, btw, where is the Honda service center in the suburbs?? :S.... I have not seen one (prolly because I only see bajaj everywhere!)

Sorry, I gave the statement in a wrong way. I was trying to point out the down payment thing, Its like 55xxx, Including booking, i.e, 5k now and 50xxx rest when we get the bike and rest on finance. Which roughly gives a 33% down payment for bike rather than the premium 50% ones which where spoken previously!

And I booked my bike today at Didar Motor's, Chennai, Was the 50th booking. Red, Standard. Expected delivery around June End / July Beginning. They said that they will be getting only a maximum of 12 to 15 bikes per lot, But they aren't sure too. At the last image, You can see quote for the Initial Payment detail and finance provided by them, It was just a rough quote since I said I will be doing only via my fathers bank. Still I got it in writing so I can share it here.

And about the financing options, AFAIK, they are going to come out with them once they receive the first lot for deliveries (is what the sales guy had told me).

Today, I went to Honda Wings showroom in Kothrud, Pune.. The guy there informed me that the display bike would come in under 2 weeks. The booking amount is 5k.. and the down payment amount would be 75k. There has been only about 15 bookings in this showroom.

Check out the COPS on the CB1000R's they look terrific too, Like big brothers taking care of the lil CBR's
But dont miss out the fuel tank height of the CBR 250R when compared to the CB1000r this will give you a sense of the scale, the 250 surely is a big bike

Lot of excitement growing up by the day

the next six bikes are booked by the the showroom owner itself for his relatives. . . .

so dont think any other people from outside will get it anytime sooner for them

The dealer I spoke to said that once the bike rolls out on the roads then the wait wouldnt be much as due to the demand Honda would be supplying in sufficient quantity so as to not lose customers by making them wait for weeks/months.
