i'll have to get a aftermarket horns if these really end up making fart sounds..:/...

1 more thing is till now we dont have idea about lighting and electricals of the bike..:|.....

I seriously hope those were not compromised together..

The electrical setup seems convincing. The headlamp is 60/55W with DC setup. Check the official website.

26.4 BHP that is news to me, any link? The UK CBR makes 19.42kW == 26 BHP. Where as the Indian version makes 25 BHP and surprisingly the same amount of Torque 22.9 NM.

The Thai trim makes roughly 26PS @8500rpm,while the Indian bike lose a little power to meet our fuel, emission and homologation requirements,as expected.

I humbly second you. But then why didnt the Ninja get de-tuned??

We are getting 25bhp. Thats what I have derived from the specs at the showroom and on the site. News will be confirmed once reviews start coming in. I really hope its 26.4ps.

Well, heres some snap comparos with arch-rival Ninja 250r. Lets see how it stacks up.

The layered fairing gets my thumbs up. But Honda need to give us good quality plastics here. Layered makes it look compact and tight instead of being bulky like the Kawi. The mirror stems are little bigger on the CBR, but arent a hindrance at all. Once can easily mistake that the CBR doesnt have grab rails( really, you would want to remove em!) but its smartly integrated on the frame. Also, Honda is giving the tyre hugger as stock, unlike Ninja owners who have to fit it as an extra. I like that

The two-tone color finish on all the colors is spot on. Looks much better than mono-colored bikes and stands apart from the crowd. Honda havent left any stone unturned giving this bike the screaming-modern bits and it truly makes your eyes pop out and give a wide grin

This is one department, where the Honda screams tech. Although journos may have found it not very useful, or too tiny digits, I think this is one of the simplest yet compact speedos to have come( after the new cbr1000rr got such nods couple of years back) Yet, the best speedo in this category has to be the ZMRs. This one truly is second best Really dig it.

Same spec tyres get a thumbs up.

Surprisingly, all of a sudden, those longish-fat exhausts seem out of trend. The chunky quadrangular exhaust with a neat aluminum heat shield looks really cool and exudes modern styling. A far cry from the Ninjas, this one takes the cake here as well

Two is better than one? Depends. Honda is giving a stock bulb of 60/55 which is not bad, many will consider upgrading to HID kits or better halogens. But the headlamp cluster is broad, throw will be a wider and broader one. Will have to see that on road. I remember someone posting a picture of a projector-HID mod on the cbr. Now that was wicked.

Ravi, I want to book one, but will wait. You need to see it for the quality bit. As confirmed, Honda did assemble the bike in a hurry for display. I hope people who will get the booked lot dont have these bits.

Buddy, I do not believe that the muffler cover is made of aluminium, it must be steel with silver paint as on other commuter bikes/scooters.
The disc up front is 296mm on CBR while it is 290mm on Ninja. So, it is just 6mm wider smile

Looked aluminum from the feel, but could be a paint job. My bad regd the disc
                          thanks for correcting mate.
