    I haven't posted anything and just observing this thread for quite some time now but the last picture of CBR250 made me post.

    I hope that the engine performance will bring a smile on my face.

    There are just too many disjoint bits and pieces and doesn't feel like a single unit and also the colours are downright boring. HRC colour does add some exclusivity to it and makes it appealing. There should be atleast 2 exciting colours to choose from for any bike above 200cc and this applies to all the manufacturers.

    Not exactly. I never liked the VFR1200, thought that it might impress me when I see one in real but it didn't. There is no bike currently which impresses me except the Ninja but that's very very expensive

        I felt the same. I think it is because of the guy's expression. He doesn't look very excited to be seated on the 250R. He looks terribly bored and the bike looks boring as a consequence..

          I booked CBR on Jan 1st in all excitement like many other fellow bookers. With time, somehow, I have gained affinity towards R15 at the same time losing interest in CBR a bit gradually.
          I just called up a Yamaha showroom and they said R15 would take a month to be delivered after booking or would be faster if bike is available. After CBR's launch in mid April, if I will not like it, I will have to go for R15. But booking R15 at that time would mean I will have to wait till mid May again. I certainly cannot wait for one more month from CBR's launch. So am going to book R15 too today and will choose my bike when CBR actually arrives in Bangalore. Though they will fine me Rs.500 if I cancel R15 booking(of course because I would have liked CBR), I am doing the booking just to avoid another month's wait for R15 after CBR's launch. Point is, I will have a bike in April.
          Now, thats a dilema, with no clear criteria to choose one bike between the two. Have enough budget for the CBR and my ultimate choice seems going to be instinctive Huh!

            Bland! damn MG:P What do you want from pictures taken from 2mp mobile phone cameras to be??! or maybe you dont like the CBR entirely.

              I had called up Honda's South Regional Office couple of mins back. The person is still saying that its 1.5L and 1.75L for the Std and ABS version respectively. Dunno what to believe now! Is it that they don't want to reveal anything before the official launch?
              He also said the bikes will be dispatched from Gurgaon plant by the end of March or begining of April. It takes 7 days to reach Bangalore. So definately by 10th April we can see the bikes in the showrooms. So max by 15th April the deliveries will start.

                Lol! I aint no alpha male either. 5 feet 6 inches, 57 kgs (I put on a little weight recently, lots of burgers and double burst pizzas ), absolutely no physical activity for the last 4 years, but i ride a rusted RE-Machismo everyday to work. The only times i face trouble is when kick starting (or to be precise, when the bike kicks me back) and when taking turnings. For kickstarting, i jump on the lever. And while turining, i slow down, use engine braking, lean and throttle out of the turn. Works every time.

                      145mm GC=Bullet.
                      If that can be used for commute, then this can too.
                      But be careful of where you park, the fairings are prone to damage.

                              In what way does the CBR 250 resembles the CBR family apart from the name?? MG has mentioned he doesnt like the looks of VFR, and so the CBR250... which looks very similar to the VFR... and not anyother CBR's

                              Why should he not like the CBR family for disliking the CBR250 here!???

                              I also personally am not much excited about the looks of the CBR250.. If I had then I would have booked it by now.. since it has got everything else that I would need.. in my opinion.. But I like the rest of the CBR's.. 600rr being my favourite..

                                The title of the thread says 1.5L for non-ABS and 1.8L for C-ABS, but the latest news here says 1.43L for non-ABS and 1.68L for ABS..

                                So still waiting for the mods to confirm..
