Good going buddy. Proof enough now. The bike looks pretty muscular.
    @Technician: Hehe some words there.

Riding is a way of life. Sometimes, it might also be a way of giving life. So Ride safe. In both contexts.

Well it seems to me that you lost it in too much of logic, very much like showroom sales guys who talks first of all about mileage even if the customer is looking performance aspects.

CBR250R is not the fast 250 bike.It is just another 250cc bike, thats all.Yes it is faster than ZMR,R15,P220 and RTR180 none of them are 250s ,but a Mojo would say hello to it whenever possible, wherever possible unlike the Ninja, who would say See Ya and zoom off.

It seems that you can go on with it for all day............carry on if this is your favorite way of spending your leisure.

These can be made by simple trusty good old engineering. And if totally made in India, both can be parked in your garage at 2 and 3 lakh respectively (OTR, mind you) -2 lac eh?, gud luck with that. You can't expect more from these people. ,Your and mine wishes will remain unfulfilled wishes for a long time -true.
For the time being, at least, the lesser souls (the lesser bad characters ) can be satisfied with CBR 250R at a reasonable price -sure. For People('lesser souls'), who consider ninja expensive cbr is the best bet. BTW .what u ride mr technician? .

It was not me who pointed about sourcing jet engines for a Honda through me. And who is Asimo? Any cute female worker working at Daruhera!

Well it seems to me that you lost it in too much of logic
And you seems to have lost all of it.

very much like showroom sales guys who talks first of all about mileage even if the customer is looking performance aspects.
The poor showroom guys or even me don't know that customer, the King is the person who regularly experience too much Gs at above Mach 50.

Here you seems to come wrongly around things called Logic and reasoning.

but a Mojo would say hello to it whenever possible, wherever possible unlike the Ninja, who would say See Ya and zoom off.
And Mojo would take CBR for a date to the nearest pub, both merry making while the jealous Ninja would curse its own celibacy.

carry on if this is your favorite way of spending your leisure.
Ya, Ya, I am a free man having no productive work to do unlike an ultra-busy MD, as you are, of a blue-chip MNC shuttling between cities, if not countries, handling crores if not billion, in a course of few hours.

@- Reaper - That hyperactive imagination was deliberate having a tinge each of sarcasm, fun, middle-finger emotion and pitty for some people who are somewhere in betweeen the state of Josh and Madhosh. I don't know whether you are one of them or not. Also, currently I have no ride for the last 2-3 months with me. My bike being stationery for want of some major repair or disposal.

              On Topic -

BI reported that CBR is doing 136 speedo in 4th gear redline (around 10.8k rpm) which means a 5th gear redline would see 159 kmph based on gear ratioes published, still discounting 6th gear reserved for overdrive supercruise. Does anyone know whether CBR is equipped with a contact less speedo-sensor or regular cable type one though the error can still be built in a contact-less one also. Though not a fierce top end, but enough to make those wimps grin who cannot shell out Rs. 3 lakhs for alternatives.

Rightly said... that is wat all i also had in mind...

ppl might go for this bike for it is a 250 cc and good looks... but the main point here is ... it is a single cylinder...

There are many ways to have a look at the equation. One of them is like this: You pay almost double the price for having a performance edge over a Mojo or a CBR which edge would be available only at above 10k rpm range. As such, this edge would be handy rarely, since you cannot keep your engine above 10k rpm even 90% of time in all gears. Period. Can you understand the meaning of it.

                  • Technology is upgrading at fast rate....A new gen 150cc bike like R15 gives slightly better performance then 223cc ZMA R ... So CBR doing those speeds is obvious and is great for prospective buyers who can't afford Ninja

I think his point is that you are paying double for advantages which you may exploit only occasionally (or maybe rarely)...

                          • I too have pointed out that point and it is very relevant.... How many times do you ride above 110 or 120 kmph speeds??? Once in a week, once in a month?
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

Bro, The price is not yet officially out ? No proper bike test / reviews have been made ? And you come to this conclusion of "not worth buying" thinge. (Well your writing's just indirectly prove that)
