Here is my little experience with the -wheelers that I have owned or by my immediate family memebrs.

HH Bikes: It has been to 4 SVCs out which 3 did very good job and other 1 was decent enought. ( 3/4 )

Yamaha: R15 was at 3 SVCs here, out with two were near to pathetic and 1 was OK ( So 1.5/3)

Suzuki Access: Nearest SVC is 9kms (thats quite a far considering I have 12 HHs SVCs in 4kms proximity of my home). Not at all happy with Suzuki and complaints went to Head office in Delhi. (0/1)

TVS: They are OK-OK. But not satisfactory.

With my experience with Yamaha, HH, Suzuki and TVS. HH provides decent enough service when compared to other manufraturers and dont want to comment on Bajaj's & Hondas (I dont even like attitude of people at Honda).

A former GP rider Tadayuki Okada says: a) the seat is low, which is good. b) handle bar is closer and not wide. c) the bike is very light on the move. d) Break is well made. e) When I break I do not feel 'diving in'. f) It may fit to long ride. g) It has good v-engine torque up to 10000rpm. h) Thanks to the sit up easy position, it feels light , also weight point does not change, which would allow you to push hard without worry. i) front is planted in etc. Positive only because he is paid!

                      • Hey,,
I happened to speak to one of the guys at the Honda showroom and was actually disappointed to hear that according to their expectations, the CBR wont be launched till Q3 next year..
Apparently Honda had called a Dealer meeting very recently and this was discussed there. Additionally, we were informed that the production plans have not yet been developed for the manufacturing thus pushing the delivery dates even beyond.
                        ..
I was super gloomy to hear this.. Praying that someone with a high insider info would please prove me wrong...

Did you heard that guy saying that the NON-ABS version costs 3999 and ABS with 4499... i think its USD... so from the calculation it goes like this
                          3,999 USD = 180,727.94 INR
                          and
                          4,499 USD = 203,330.76 INR

Again i am disappointed... i don't know it is worth that money or not... but for me a two lakhs is too high...

That's the price in US. And bike will be exported from India/Thailand.
Now one thing for sure is that CBR250R will cost much lesser than that since its production will happen here.
