Baby Ceeber

Afterall, its a Baby Ceeber for sure.

The Americans and the Europeans say the bike is second to none is the city, whereas on the highway, the competion 'slightly' betters it because of the extra cylinder and extra bhp, well they're right on their part, because they're talking about highway speeds of a 95 to 100mph. In India, that's way too much, we're talking about a 120km's per hour on our roads which is more than enough I believe. The Ceeber is made for the Indian roads and conditions, I bet the softer suspension and better riding aesthetics would make a big difference in India, n even being a wee bit smaller than it's competition, the Ceeber in reviews is rated as being far more comfortable and accomodating.

So no more comparisons please. This thread belongs to the CBR, let it be, let people know about the features and the good stuff of the bike. Once the bike is out, there'll be a review to point out the stuff...........

awaiting their steeds ever so anxiously. Can I politely ask folks to stick with the CBR please.

Dont hijack this really going strong thread. CBR folks, come on, I need some support.

My take on that video, the guys been handsomely paid by Kawasaki. No wonder hes praising the Ninja by saying the cbr doesnt look exciting. I mean what the ****!! If Honda had given a v-twin to the CBR then it would really have been a fair comparo. Ninja should rather be pitted against the Hyosung 250gt for a fair result. Anyway people abroad got good roads, they can do high speeds, which is why that extra cylinder seems better, and most of the times, they sell off their bikes by around 10-20,000 kms. Here, its the other way round. Thats why the Ninja is a logical winner for them, rightly so, cant blame them.

Anyway, the Ninja with the dated console, looks boring. Whos got time to spare second thoughts. Add to that its expensive spares. When you are comparing bikes you ought to see all these factors.

I will keep it straight. Get both the bikes together and bring in a novice. Immediately he will be astride the CBR. Bring in an expert rider, will seriously think of the Ninja, but will consider after sales and service. May even go for it, but theres something about Honda which will attract him and may as well buy it. If not, he will fall back on saving up for the bigger steeds. Wise! Some people have already decided about it. Fair and practical enough.

I guess Sid may be the first one to get his baby here. This is going to be fun. Bring it on sid. Awaiting your initial ride feedback mate. Congrats once again

Each of the number mentioned there has been prefixed with an approx symbol. I live in Jogeshwari and the jogeshwari showroom guys are least said clueless about whats happening. The figures were app quoted by manager and thats what i posted.

Does anyone know if frame sliders are available for the baby Ceeber?? It's extremely important to fix one in bangalore as people have the habit of leaning and sitting on the bike when its parked. A damaged fairing might be difficult to replace because on non availablility.. and will be costly too.

Wow 400 + pages for a bike that hasnt even hit the roads After reading motor-psycle's post a question popped into my mind, does the bike come with a centre stand / does Honda offer a centre stand as an option? It would really make the bike easier to live with.

No center stand Neil & I don't think HMSI will offer a centre stand for a 162 Kg motorcycle
