Saree Guard is a major Disaster, I can think of one probable use for it other than its original Intended use

Could use it as a Grill for Barbecue Parties.

I spoke to the Haiku Honda , Prasanna Today again,
Apparently the RTO is yet to clear the Bike.

I asked him what stops you to Keep the bike on dislpay,
he mentioned the Bike will be on display only after the approval from RTO,

The Truck from Honda plant will only move after the RTO approval from Karnataka.(my guess is it takes 7 to 8 days from Delhi to Bangalore truck Load to move)
Given this situation I can only dream of seeing the CBR this month.

Fellow Bangaloreans its time to raise our voice to the HMSI-HONDA Corporate guys in Delhi to treat us as equals.( while Mumbai and Delhi gets to put the bike in the showrooms for display we are still waiting for RTO clearance)

the part that irritates me is, We Bangalorean's pay the Highest price in the Country for the CBR and Honda Seriously does not understand Priority levels

I will be glad if i can see it this month in bangalore, getting it home is far away.

Horrible is an understatement for the saree guard and the front number plate. When Honda has spent so much on research, they could have spent a little more on designing the saree guard properly. These are first things to go off my bike as soon as I get it.

I hope the front number plate can be removed without removing the fairing.

Will check with my dealer (silicon honda, mysore road) tomorrow morning for any updates. I am not expecting any positive response though. A couple of days ago they were as clueless as they were in January.

Folks did any of you notice the calipers make? It was Nissin in all the pics that we have seen till now, but the ones we see here are from BIBRE. Not that, I am complaining about (since these are quality stuffs, now owned by a Indian auto major)

The pattern I noticed is that the C-ABS version has Nissin callipers while the non ABS has Bybre.

Intermittently you must keep it at rev limit higher than the one prescribe in manual for a few seconds. My friend says that performance wise if you follow the manual, then your bike will last for long, but performance will drop slightly. Not sure how much this could be a speculation, maybe senior members can comment on this part.
That could result your bike to suddenly freeze, the metallic components of the engine need time to slowly gel with each other, since different parts are made of different metal/quality of metal.

Guys I have to raise a concern here. Isnt removing the saree guard also going to get you into COP trouble? I am not sure if removal of saree guard is an option we should be looking at, atleast for a couple of months. Right?
