Look at these angles, definitely the under cowl, the rear side panels and grab rails and the curvy headlight. Definitely from the VFR. And why not. I guess primarily, the simple motive behind the CBRs development was to make a light and easy bike, which is frugal and easy to maintain. With rising fuel costs( these 5 years have really pushed fuel prices to the limit), congested & bad roads, maddening traffic, who would want to rip his superbike in such environs? So why not go back to the quarter liter class segment and create a single cylinder bike with technologies borrowed from various Honda departments? And thats why the VFR styled fairing for better aerodynamics, and a single cylinder good enough to rival most v-twins in terms of torque, handling and mileage( worth a consideration
). I guess this bike will do something akin to what the Karizma did back in '03. It was light and easy, good torque and served daily purposes really well, be it touring, commuting or even stunting. And the best part is the pricing, which has really got the sting back to Honda. Cant wait to see the blades on road now.

they may be mistaken for owning a cbr250!
