20-25 per month?? The kandivali dealer has 165+ bookings and still promises a delivery within 60days with registration and all stuff.

Strange I was told a maximum of 50 days by Kandivali dealer. They are considering the chances of 35-40% cancellations after the finance options are out.

Hi SaiKamal, I booked mine from Adyar Kuna Honda on Feb-8th. At that time they told me my booking number was 2 or 3 and that I would be getting the bike in the first lot. But more recently, they have started telling me cock and bull stories that my booking is 17. I got pissed off and irritated with how this dealership was handling a customer. So i started calling up each and every dealer in Tamilnadu, finding their booking numbers, I finally ended up making a deal with the dealer in Kanchipuram. He does not have any bookings from the showroom , So i booked it from there and he promised me that he would give it to me in the first lot, i.e April end or May 1st week. I already paid him the advance for the same. Right now, it's a race against the two dealers, whoever is going to give me the bike first, I am going to take it from there.

It is is not worth it brother, taking in the aspects like the worth the dealer is to the company. Kun will get it earlier any day, but you should have gone with didar ! That would have been a beyer option than kun.bit the other guy, forget him ! I wont be amazed even if he could give you on june !

I was just taking a chance. It doesn't really matter, I will take it from Kun if they can give me first. What have I to lose anyway, except that I have five thousand less to invest somewhere else in the mean time

Just a quick question.. is the 5000 a refundable deposit?? Would help if there is anyone here, who booked the bike and then later cancelled it to get the 5k bike, or someone here knows anyone here who did that?

here in allahabad the booking amount is 5000rs non refundable

A quick word from Pune. I'd been to Pashankar Auto on JM Road - spoke with a dude (a certain Mr. Swamy). He told me that the bikes are awaiting RTO clearance, and that I'll get a call from them in a couple of days - i.e. by the 12th of April. A display bike is expected by then too. It's been a long wait - I'd booked my Red & Silver ABS version in the first week of Jan. I'm hoping that the ABS versions come in sufficient numbers.

In any case, the wait is on.

I found this site that helps you compare your seating position on different bikes. I compared Kawasaki Ninja 250 and Honda CBR 250R. The riding position is almost the same for both the bikes.

They cheated us. Idiots. I dont know what to believe. The Honda rep told me that he was told from Gurgaon the bikes were despatched on 6th itslef. But then the info was wrong and he came to know that the despatch took place today only. I was crestfallen. I mean, here we are in Bangalore, stupid high taxes, first to book bikes even without having a look and not even a display bike to drool at. If there is any place I hate to the core, its Bangalore. (This is a personal opinion, I dont want any more comments on the same.)
The rep had travelled to Delhi to get first hand training along with service people, but he is also awaiting the bike to be delivered. Very very very angry with the way Honda have dealt with this problem. Mass bookings rom Bangalore being treated in this way.

Yes its true, The bike will be delivered only by 25th. If at all they get the bikes by 20th.

I am also thinking of the same. I saw the list of people who booked at the showroom, the rep showed me an excel sheet. I thought I was the third, but now I realised I am second. And damn, the list was endless, there are so many bookings from Bangalore.
One good news is that Bangalore RTO has already approved of the bike. So that delay is out.

Don't be worried dude..this happens everywhere not only in Bangalore. Just another few more days extra. Have patience.

P.S.: I love Bangalore to the core..

That's interesting.. my friends ninja is only giving 22 or 24km/l
and what shivaprasad.ms says is right. even in most of the forums, CBR owners report the same.. if the bike was maintaning a constant 100 - 120km/h its giving 30 or 31 and the best was 33km/l and in city conditions its giving 22 or 26km/l (60 - 80km/h)..

Yes, they have the silver one at display. I booked mine (metallic RED) from there. I was 164th. They are saying that it will be a maximum of 50 days waiting period. TD starts from last week of April and those who have booked will be given special preference (don't know what they mean by that). Attaching some pics.

I also visited the poisar (kandivali) showroom today.. And i just loved the silver.. It looks awesome.. I am now thinking to change my booking to silver.. Seriously.. It would also give me a exclusive factor as less would be on road.. it looks meaty and i just loved it..

Test ride to start from 20th and if booked now, delivery in 60days.
