Btw, no test ride is being given? Atleast to the people who have booked the bike?

I would still say that you guys are lucky to touch and feel the bike. We guys in Bangalore have to wait for another 2 weeks atleast to see it in flesh.

And now they expect us to buy with out even a test ride

is that the waiting period for people who were doing new bookings?...

I was thinking of cancelling my bangalore booking & 'import' it from pondicherry..
          I too from Bangalore.
Can we buy it from there and get it registered in Bangalore?

Anyone knows when a demo bike will be available in Pune? The showroom folks have limited knowledge as of now..

I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

              • Hey HH even I have booked 2 Cbr from mumbai on 29th dec'10:-) 1st on 2 dealers booking list:-) both red bikes and 1 for my frnd black colour no.2 on booking.but actually the excitement of Cbr has died down a little for me as got my hayabusa a few days back.nonetheless I am not liking the fact that they reduced 1bhp power for Indian version and also increased the weight by around 5kgs.disappointing for me.btw how many people here would like the Hrc colour of Cbr if they got an option to change it from their present booked 1's?

I booked the bike just for test drive
I mean I was in head over heels love with Ninja but CBR at almost 50% the price was very attractive.
So I want to decide only after I have a test ride of CBR.
                    Lets wait and Watch!

Well dude considering the price factor as well as the other reviews, any day I would prefer a CBR over a Ninja

Sorry for going OT but I dont intend to offend any Ninja owner!

Nice bike. I am no expert in the technical aspects of a motorcycle but for me it looked good. The front number plate is, well.. We checked the welding on the main frame inside the front fairing and the work wasn't that good. Most members agreed to it. Rear tyre looks awesome and so does the tyre hugger. Console is pretty neat without any complications and exposed metal parts like the R15. Bike sure gives the big bike feel. Fairing at some places was creaking. The rear tail-lamp section was a bit loose. Well that's about it. I'll let the experts speak. Single horn(so it may be weak).
Nice pics Ketan Bhau. You rock man. Does the exhaust look out of proportion with the rest of the bike?

Indeed CBR is VFM buddy thats the reason I booked it and eagerly waiting for test drive.

I was planning for Ninja from the day it was launched but was postponing due to high cost and maintenance...

Had a test drive of the Ninja and couldn't stop thinking abt the bike

I am habituated to low end torque from my Karizma from the past 4 yrs or so So I was looking for a change (Some High Revving bike like an R15). Lets c if I get a feeling that CBR would be a worthy upgrade from my ZMA

                          Fingers crossed!
