Yeah, the cbr is for daily commute purpose and the Ninja will be for weekend joy rides only.

The bike is on display at Malad showroom near chincholi bunder Malad west, it is a RED one, my brother just checked out the bike and is happy with the size of the bike, he says it looks big and has good presence, only think didn't went well with him is the from number plate...i think he has clicked some pics...i'll try uploading it or some one please check it out ASAP

My dealer confirmed delivery in 1st week of april

Just spoke to my dealer. He confirmed that On-road price in delhi is INR 1,57,000 approx and Faridabad INR 1,51,500 approx (I have an option to register at either). I checked with him on possible delivery date, he said that 1st week of april. He was all ga ga over C-ABS but I am not reading all nice things about ABS on the net and hence not convinced. Think it was BIKEUSA that said that for novices C-ABS may be good but not for regular riders in the habit of combi braking (front and rear...I do the same). Technically there is much more to the ABS setup (and is probably worth the extra green) but he said that visually its only a sticker job on the front shocks for ABS and yes a few extra cables to the front discs. Hence only a person with know how of the CBR model offering and ABS will be able to diffrentiate that you are riding a non-ABS version. I have told him my color choice (Red non-ABS) and now counting days. Look forward to ride this baby. Mine's 1/1/11 booking.

Anybody else booked from Faridabad/Gurgaon, will be nice to catch up for weekend rides. I have a bunch of friends in Gurgaon who ride regularly on weekends.

More thing OTR price of C-ABS ver is around 2.2 lacs as per them.
I told it is 1.96 lacs as per honda official site.

Cheap yaar the non abs version
here in my city the road tax is 7% on the cost of the bike.

I booked the Non-ABS version on 3 Jan from Pratul Honda, Kondapur, Hyderabad. Called up the dealer and they informed that test ride bike might arrive with in a week. I'm the 1st person to book the bike from this dealer
But the confusion for me is whether CBR would be a worthy upgrade from my 4 yr old Zma.
I had my eyes all set on Ninja from the day it was released but backed off due to the high price and more higher spares/maint costs

Will have to decide after I test ride the CBR

Today is my FZ16's 2nd birthday... And the last one with me too...

I visited the dealer(Sai Point Honda, Mira rd, Thane) i booked my cbr.. And they still have no clue.. they still say the same.. they dont even know that it is launched and the prices are out.. He said that the price will be fixed in april end What dumb people..

I booked in on 17th Feb from Jhaveri Honda Mumbai!!!

See basically the thing is that only the head office of Jhaveri Honda has details and the other branches (Kurla Where I booked) has no idea till now about the launch and all!!!!

so, u can just ride it down to delhi....why do you need to re-register it in delhi...keep it as a pondichery number
(riding with a pondicherry or any other state's number plate is not illegal afaik)
or

you can buy it ex-showroom....1,33,000 bring it via train and register it here for 13,000 n get a delhi number
