BHARAT PETROLEUM
Normal Speed =>87 Octane with Premixed Fuel Addtives
Speed 93 = 93 Octane.
Speed 97 = 97 Octane.
HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM = Power = 91 Octane.
INDIAN OIL XtraPremium = 91Octane and 93 Octane in Euro 3 cities.

CBR250R is good with 91 - 97 as people in Thailand use them and running fine. so i guess it should be ok for us too.

Hi. I'm from Gangtok, Sikkim. I too, booked the bike from Kayson Honda at Siliguri. Last time I checked, there were eighteen confirmed bookings. But that was more than a month ago. There's probably a lot more now. I booked on the Ist week of Jan and am getting delivery sometime mid April.

Tell U what? Call the manager there- A Mr. Ramesh Singh- A pretty helpful guy. His number is 09800022150. He'll tell U at what number ur booking is and when U can expect delivery..

Hi guys,
Am at Delhi for two days. Can anyone tell me if the CBR is displayed anywhere in the Capital? Which showroom? I'd really like to see it in the flesh..

One more thing, the showroom manager at Siliguri where I booked my bike told me that they would be bringing the Non-ABS version first for delivery. So even though i booked much earlier, since mine is the ABS version, people booking the Non-ABS version would be getting delivery before me..

Is it the same in other places?

Hey friends!

Booked the std. CBR today at Honda Wings showroom, Pune!

Mine is 16th booking in that showroom. Out of that, 12 are ABS bookings and the rest are standard.

The delivery would be in 1.5 months. Went with red color.

Such passion for a motorcyle model (CBR250R) that too from a market (Thailand) which is basically a step thru + scooter dominated one..!!

Hi everyone.. this is my first post on the forum. I too have booked a Red one (non ABS) from Silicon Honda, Mysore Road in January. My dealer told me yesterday that the bike is not yet launched

He had the price list though. This is the breakup in bangalore for the std (non ABS) version:
Basic: 1,46,725
Insurance: 1962
Road Tax: 19544
Reg Fee: 120
Smart Card charges: 230

Total OTR: 168,581

He said the display bike would be here by mid april and the bike would be delivered by end of april.

The bike was launched officially on 25th March AFAIK!
Same is the case with my dealer but he knows bike is launched. Well I am gonna go there today. Many of those who booked CBR have got the probable delivery dates so I am goin to get mine!

All and any kind of petrol in India is 91 octane. Its a mandate by the govt. Premium fuels are 91 octane with additives. speed 93 and 97 are 93 and 97 RON fuels

I told him that it is already launched.. then he told me that it is not launched in bangalore

. Did not make any sense to argue with him. I just said ok and asked him to give me a copy of the price list.
If this is how it is before the launch, I shudder to think of how the Service would be like. I have heard a lot of horror stories about honda service and hope that in CBRs case it would be different.
