Completely agree to it. I don't see anything wrong in Sai's explanation. He put forward a point regarding performance, people asked and he answered in the most apt way.Originally posted by sayhi2sai

Sai: my hi to you. First up, the CBR hasnt even hit the roads yet here in our country. How are we in a position to gauge anything out of it mate?? Yes if saikamal has imported one from Thailand I would heartily back him, infact even open a thread for him. But NOT right now, lets us plain simple keep it to the excitement to its deliveries etc. Indeed you all can ask doubts but this aint the right time. Sorry my friend. Peace!Originally posted by sayhi2saiWith all due respect Mod sir, I see no offence from Saikamaldoss, he merely stated an opinion that the engine can perform at higher rpm. It is the other members who asked for explanation and authenticity of that, and he did it in the only way one could--- Technically... I just feel its an unwarranted warning you are giving a member... If anything, shouldn't you be telling the people to not ask doubts rather than asking people with answers to not answer them?? Again, just my humble opinion..
The engine can perform at higher rpm, even i know that and appreciate Saikamals great explanation. I suggest he save it for the coming days. Thats when it will be appreciated even more and will sound more relevant as well.
Ganesh: Couldnt have asked for anything betterOriginally posted by aargee View Post@Sai - C250R hasn't been released yet & this is a thread to discuss anything about the launch & once its launched we can have a technical thread running on it. Now, even before the bike is launched, do we need to have such a discussion? And its not that none of us understand anything on cams or moding the head or increasing the CR. Don't you think its little too early to talk about these things especially when the bike isn't even hit in most of the showrooms? As a member, are you not feeling this is a complete OT to be discussed on this thread? And when the topic goes complete OT, shouldn't the mods do their jobs? Just another humble opinion!!!
He hasnt but its out of place right now. He can do all that 24x7 once members start receiving their bikes and begin doing mods etc.Originally posted by chinmayakar View PostCompletely agree to it. And to Saikamal: I know Aargee just put it up and you responded. Only to realise that its all out of sheer enthusiasm we have for this product, but you mis-timed it. Thats all! No offence against you, but you need to know the bike is NOT out yet, so we cant judge anything. Its just a matter of a few weeks. After that, whos stopping you man. Shatter keys then.Last edited by myg124; 04-07-2011, 08:42 PM."Never recreate from your memory, always imagine new places"

Well I did try to get this info from the Honda dealers but they themselves seemed to have no idea. He started grumbling something about the bike having to be "cleared" by the RTO in Karnataka and they seem to be waiting for that too...Originally posted by vijaydutt View PostThanks for coming Back.

K. Peace out................Originally posted by xsrealityAh! Looks like there has been a fight here while I was away! But all I see now are deleted posts.
As a complete non-techie (when it comes to bike, not computers!), I agree with the mod that the technical stuff be postponed for later when the bike handle is in our hands. Even better, have a separate thread for that. I don't really want to searching for bike-delivery related posts between all that technical jargons! Just my 2 cents.
By the way, I plan to book my bike tomorrow or on Saturday. **Feeling excited!**
I got a call from Sterling Honda, Pune sayin my ride would be delivered around the 20th of this month. Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, why does this exclusivity part always come into picture? How much does it matter?
According to me, there are 3 factors that decide the exclusivity.
- High Cost - Only few who can afford buy it.
- Poor in every aspect (performance/styling/appeal) - Very few people buy it for obvious reasons.
- Non-availablity of the product / Limited Editions.
Just my views. Those who don't like it can ignore it.
Don't wanna create a fight here.
