        • Great!

Good to see the bikes have been sent from the plant to the dealers

So anyone else got a call from their dealer?

          Specifically from Mumbai?

Same here dude! They are dumba$$es in real terms!

Even Jhaveri Honda (Kurla) has no idea!

My friend said the head office has all the details and they will pass on the details as soon as they get a green signal from Honda for the deliveries.

How do you know C250R can rev upto 13K RPM & the CR can be increased upto 12.4 without the valves hitting the head? I find it hard to believe, appreciate if you can provide source of information from the net or give a brief overview if you've layed down your hands.

                • If we do it the way you say, don't we run the risk of valves hitting the piston head.. Also, we will need to lengthen the con-rod by the same 0.25mm, which if I'm not mistaken, needs to be all new, with increased length, because i highly doubt the integrity of spacers even if placed in the right location by the experts..

Another point to note.. The extra machining, now brings the valve seat far closer to the piston, which might reduce their strength and result in damage to that area.. And finally, valve overlap cannot be changed JUST LIKE THAT.. It needs much more fine tuning and optimization than you'd expect.. And, how exactly will you redesign the cams..?

Just a few questions that made me raise my brows..

If you book now, you should be getting by Mid June (tentative). Depends on how much booking that Showroom has.

You can talk to them if you need, I have given the contact number in one of my previous post. The contact number is also there in the price list attached.

May be for accessories.... You can get clarifications from him directly at 9845411090.

But the rate he is quoting is for a "flat rate". I am not opting for it as I plan to pay back earlier. Dont want to pay unnecessary interest. Will take loan from elsewhere.

                          • Honda cbr 250

                            Hi All,

I am planning to get Honda CBR 250 ABS version and even booked it too. I am currently staying in Pondichery and will be shifting to bangalore within 1 month, but the bike is yet to deliver within 2 months. If i buy the same at bangalore the cost will be more than 1.9 L and again waiting time more than 3 months, which is creating a fuss. It is possible to drive the pondi bike in karnataka without any trouble, and for that which all things i need to put up so that i can enjoy my CBR 250 and aslo if i wan to convert my Pondichery registration to Karnataka, what is the procedure

                            Thanks

Those prices which are there on the website was updated in March.
From 1st April onwards, VAT % has been increased in Karnataka. Hence the increase in price.

                              • @Sai - C250R hasn't been released yet & this is a thread to discuss anything about the launch & once its launched we can have a technical thread running on it. Now, even before the bike is launched, do we need to have such a discussion? And its not that none of us understand anything on cams or moding the head or increasing the CR. Don't you think its little too early to talk about these things especially when the bike isn't even hit in most of the showrooms? As a member, are you not feeling this is a complete OT to be discussed on this thread? And when the topic goes complete OT, shouldn't the mods do their jobs? Just another humble opinion!!!
