in picture no. 6 ,above the clutch lever, there is screw like system for attaching mirrors. why is it there where the mirrors are already attached to fairing?

Unicorn, I guess. I recall seeing something similar on the R15 but not sure, can some one confirm?

PS :- we can add smaller mirrors to these, to see our own faces.

If you remember, thats exactly how R15 and ZMR were sold initially :-( R15's were bought just out of sheer craze, with no concerns of test riding it before.

Finance

Guys!!! Does anyone have an Idea about the finance options available for CBR 250. I was planning to go for the new R-15 (don't know when it will be launched) but after seeing the price of CBR I am seriously thinking of chucking the R15 plan out of window, the only hindrance is that I read somewere in this thread that we need to pay 50% of the bike's cost as down payment which is causing me to put the plans of buying this bike on hold. It will be a great help if someone can confirm this as my dealer does not have any idea about it.

A humble request to all the experts/experienced riders here:

I booked CBR on 1-1-11 in Bangalore and when I am just close to getting the delivery, I am in a dilema over choosing a bike for me. Before CBR was announced, I was all set to buy R15 and paused after hearing about CBR. Ever since I have been in dilema and it is killing me ever since - just no clarity on what to buy
I understand that no one or not many would have had a feel of the CBR but definitely so about R15 as it is getting 3 years old after launch.
Kindly give me your unbiased opinions from your experience with R15 and impressions of CBR that at their on-road prices of Rs.1,17,000 and Rs.1,67,670 in Bangalore,
1. which one would be a good sports bike in the looks and the feel?
2. which one would be better in fuel efficiency? (I am not meaning mileage here, I understand bigger CBR cannot give mileage of R15)
3. Which one would be durable with good fit and finish?
4. Which one would be better at vibe-free high revving on highways?
5. a better cornerer?
6. more versatile - daily comfort riding and touring?
7. which one would better justify the cost-for-technology aspect?

Please excuse me if questions do not sound reaonable but these are currently in the back of my mind constantly.
You may please just post what you feel would be a bike money better spent on on these points? So, please get out of the CBR excitement and give me unbiased opinion. Your replies would be of high value to me.
Please note that in Bangalore there is price difference of Rs.50k betwen R15 and CBR.

if you look at all the HH CBZ, ZMA (Including ZMR), the Honda Unicorn all have the same switch panels. I had wished atleast Honda would not do the same as it did for ZMR but, no.
I did not like the mirror styling. It looks like the auto rikshaw mirror. in that sense the ZMR (all hero honda's) oval like mirrors looked good. And mirror is always a problem in all the Indian 2wheelers except HH.
So my first job after getting the bike is remove the Honda mirror and replace it with ZMR's I am sure it will fit in.

Here is my unbiased opinion
To all your thoughts CBR 250R is the good option, the only thing that might worry is the huge price difference(50K is not a small amount for many) between R15 & CBR250R. But if you can think it as an investment a more money can give you a better bike and that's CBR250R. In terms of comfort Honda stays ahead. But what lacks in them is the immd kick off given by Yamaha's say in a traffic signal I always see Pulsars & R15 shooting and me with my ZMA take a liitle time to catch up. But once I make it over 80KmPH its all a different story. I guess its bcs of the slow revving engines from Honda. And I have heard from many that after 100 ZMA are difficult to catch however its top speed is much less than Pulsar.
