Honda CBR250R Launched in India at 1.43 ex showroom Delhi

    Inspite of booking my CBR on 3rd Jan. Finally after five months of never ending wait I got this bike delivered yesterday....

    I rode the bike yesterday for 20 odd ks. Today morning I rode it to my Vikhroli office from Panvel.
    While on the way near vashi, the one incident was really satisfying. I was near vashi signal, one guy on R15 came from behind. He was in proper riding gear (although it wasn't the same case with his pillion). As soon as he recognised I was on CBR he gave me thums up. I'm sure he must of our xbhpian.

    I really thank this site for educating people what the real biking attitude is. which was rarely seen in this country. Thanks xbhp. You guys really rock..

      I called up Ajaz and he explained to me that the staff who spoke to me was unaware that saree guard was a standard fitment. So he said I could get the saree guard fitted at the delivery on request. Phew!

        Friends,

        Where can I get Hid bulb for my cbr ? What's the approximate cost?
        At local accessories market in Ahmedabad they are asking 3000 rs for Nikkon & 6000 rs for Philips .
        As I installed Philips hid bulbs in my Cruze for 9500 rs. Will it cost that much for single bulb ??

            As vijay has mentioned .. the bikes are extremely dirty when they are in the warehouse. Also, the bikes are not transported in a truck from the godown to the showroom. They are driven to the showroom from the godown and washed before delivery. My bike was showing 2 kms on the odo when it was in the godown and it was showing 10 kms on the odo when I took delivery.

                But Silicon's showroom on RV road has go down too. I have seen bikes (not CBRs) being unloaded from trucks in front of the showroom. Or are CBRs unloaded somewhere in a different place and ridden to this showroom?

                  Congratulations to Sudeep. I am getting mine tomorrow, anything in particular to look out for before delivery. I have read Ajay's points. How about a CBR get together this weekend since we have around 5-6 bikes already.

                      AFAIK.. all CBRs for silicon honda are unloaded at the bannerghatta road godown. I think all bikes are unloaded at this godown and all scooters are unloaded at the RV road showroom (but I am not sure about this). Me and vijay.. both of us went and inspected our bikes at the bannerghatta road godown. Its next to purva apts after mandovi motors signal.

                      Look out for scratches and uneven panel gaps in addition to what ajay had mentioned.

                        Same here in Kerala also but when he said to wait 20-25 days i said i will do but if you can't get me the bike atleast in the first week of July i am gonna cancel the booking and going for Ninja. That made some difference i think.
                        Yep the tone did change as in when I went to book it the tone was great but whenever I go and ask the tone sucks!
                        I feel like Peter Parker when I drive my Hunk in the city but I become Spiderman when I am on my CBR swinging from one lane to the other on expressways.

                                hahahaha..... After a long wait from jan 17th Got a call from prathul honda (somajiguda) said that bike will be delivered on june 9th or 10th
